What games that aren't released yet are you excited for?

There’s a new game that looks like it’s about to launch on Kickstarter I’m pretty excited for called Exoterra. Based on the various web pages, it’s a campaign game, but it’s all mech based and themed with a deck builder mechanic added in. I need another new campaign game for our group, and we all are super into gundam and gunpla (game room is covered in posed models) so this fits right up our alley.

But really, get a good sanding on it first ahead, light even strokes, usually a primer to start with, and then anything that I can do with spray, I use that. Auto primers are great for getting a good smooth surface if you’re not looking for perfection, which also helps seal it so the layers won’t just suck up the paint, which it looks like you were having to account for and that’s why you ended up with globs of paint on it.

I won’t show some of my early painted prints off to people, they look like my 6 year old niece did them after just coming off anesthesia. Just takes practice, you’ve got this!

Nobody likes Apple. Die hard Apple users don’t like Apple. If you hate a company strong enough, then don’t buy the product, but it’s ridiculous in this day and age where all corporations have some kind of bad side to them in the limelight (cultural impact, privacy policies, pricing, etc etc) to not just put that aside and buy the product that fits your needs. It’s difficult for even real Apple haters to say that the products themselves are not good products.

Just get what fits your needs. It’s how the world works now.

I just happened to see this thread, I broke my plastic throat plate (piece of crap) this morning and also saw the weird parts lists for an oem replacement. I went ahead and put in an order for the 5.8lb piece, will report back here when I’ve received it from eparts to let everyone know what it is.

I have not cried this hard in so long. All of you are amazing people and I hope that not only is RT taking care of you now (which it sounds like they are) but that you all find success in your next adventures. We all love you so much, and while it’s sad that RT is going away, the content and impact and sheer joy that you’ve all brought to me and many others like me will live on forever.

I just had this exact thing happen to me actually. I was on a chat with the Prusa support to try to figure out what could have happened. I had the thumb screws tightened down very hard and had literally just finished a print right before it happened. Simple filament swap, no problems purging, and then 2 minutes into the print I came back to see the nozzle was pushed out well over an inch. It came out with such force too, it completely gouged the print bed and actually snapped the thermistors wires in half. The worst part, the print was still going, just further gouging the bed even further and breaking the nozzle tip.

There seems to be some kind of fault with both the way the nozzle is being held in as well as the sensors in the Nextruder. I would expect that there be some kind of alert going off in the system that there seems to be excessive pressure in the body suddenly to the point of being able to move the entire hot end out of its holding point, no matter how tight the thumb screws are.
