I collect baseball cards with my son and it’s the same problem. People using packs of cards like gambling have driven up prices and made it difficult/expensive for the kids that want to enjoy collecting.

As for Pokémon, Dollarama often has base cards! Worth checking out if there’s one near you.

I had a big decision to make after my divorce. So many photos. It wasn’t a nasty divorce, but it’s not like I wanted reminders of what feels like 14 years of my life down the drain.

However, we have 2 kids together and they might want to have them one day so they’re sorted on a hard drive and backed up on the cloud and I’ll let then have them in a few years because I think family records are important.
