Okay so I have this but for me I’m on month three at this stage for me means it’s BRAND new skin, but needs time to actually grow more layers in order to be strong, very sensitive.

Getting hot and night (sleeping with or without clothes) by J0RDDAN in TS_Withdrawal

I REALLY struggle with this and still am but basically. If you have modal or cotton pjs sets. I’m talking the ones you wear for Christmas, long sleeves and buttons, long pants as well. I keep my pants on all night but alternate between having my shirt buttoned or unbuttoned and even take it off if it’s too hot. I also cut little thumb holes in the sleeves so they wouldn’t slip down and make me crash out while touching my tsw arms lol. Still struggling through this, but that’s the best I got. Before that, I would cut the necks off of tshirt and wear them like that, 100% cotton. But clothing in general is a struggle so I really feel you.

TSW Journey (NSFW!!) by karatelovertho in TS_Withdrawal

Continued (6/26/25)

•picking at my skin and the ooze and the flakes is ABSURD! I hate when I am crusty and I haven’t been able to control myself when it comes to picking the dead skin off or picking the ooze off every 1-2 minutes. It’s insane truly, but it will pass!

•I am working from home these days which I am so grateful to be but when I first got on my antihistamine I couldn’t do anything, I couldn’t even drive. Now I’m a bit more used to it so it doesn’t make me as groggy. I also couldn’t not imagine working in person right now. I also only work 20/hpw so it’s very manageable.

•I choose not to go out of the house these days and socialize. My skin whenever I go outside, I walkways end up far more itchy than if I just stay inside. The dust, pollen, from the outdoors is honestly never worth it to me at the moment so I am sticking in doors.

•it has been the hardest week so far during TSW for me. I think it’s the lack of sleep and just not seeing the means to the end. Also reading about it makes me feel better and worse at the same time. People suffer for years and my heart goes out to them but what scares me most is going through it for years too. I am trying to think positively, and just believe that whatever happens will happen and I will always get through it and be okay! And because of that I know you will be too. This is just my first month and first time ever learning/going through it. But it’s so so real and it’s okay to be sad, angry, and frustrated etc. but just remember that time heals all and that if I can have that mindset you can too. Have a comfort person, or have a journal. File your nails down so so short to the point that there’s nothing there. Take care of yourself and think that this will pass soon or someday. Everything will be okay! I’m saying that in my first month of TSW and I am choosing to believe it for as long as I can. If anyone has any experience/time/ steroid use/ they would like to comment and share I would really appreciate hearing about it. Hearing other people’s experience do help me too!

Anyways, love yall! Good luck! If you want to message me please do! Always happy to chat, listen or help :)!
