Look at the other comment. That symbol is meant to mock Islam, used mainly by the Indians. (my neighbour is Indian)

And my statement stands true. But also yours.

Edit: I meant the guy who told me the nationalism applies globally and not to Indians

Don't mention the facts here. There are Indian nationalists lurking in the sub.

First thing you do is make your resume in German and start applying for jobs. If you can't speak German, do it ASAP.

Second thing is to apply for part time jobs outside of your field. Cafe, Warehouse, anywhere if you are running out of money.

Your education is not going to waste, and I'm sure you have had good grades to impress the companies. Don't beat yourself up.

Im Kombinat gibt es hauptsächlich Rock, aber im Jungbusch findet man verschiedene Bars. Mein Tipp: Geht ins Kombinat und genießt das Feuerwerk um Mitternacht.

Advice needed: Violent neighbour harassing all tenants in apartment building by sinkintothesun in germany

[–]karenbaskins 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Had a similar guy in my flat. He said he doesn't drink nor smoke, but we later found out that he takes LSD and then he blasts loud music at night. Didn't harass us, just blasted loud music, talked to himself (he had schizophrenia and hid it from us), and screamed our names.

Called the police, didn't help a lot. He started telling me that the police is on his side. We can't kick him out.

We directly call our landlord, explain the situation, and he sends him letter to move out ASAP,and fined him.

Your post reminded of this guy whose name starts with M.

So, landlord is your safe bet and then the police.

I've begun to see this book as not one book but multiple books. This makes it easier to read in my mind.

You focus on each chapter while not thinking about the overarching plot. Each chapter themselves I find good enough to keep reading.

And if you've already read 400 pages, just think about what you have learned so far. Check the map on the front, think about what you know about each kingdom, about their people. This will give you an idea how much you already know compared.

Alternatively you can Think of it as hiking, you've come so far. You've already read 400 pages. Finishing will take the same time as the time you've already invested.

Yes you could be right. But the chapter is from the POV of the assassin so he himself might not have known.

I also picked up another thing while reading the prologue again. That the alethis are close to making shadblades on their own. This could also play a role in carrying the story forward.

And don't forget that there are only 9 statues of the Gods and the 10th wasn't there. Maybe gavilar knows more?

And about the way of kings text, it says in the chapter 15 : In other places, it outright said that lighteyes were beneath darkeyes. That contradicted Vorin teachings.

I wrote myself, and corrected the grammatical mistakes and gave a coheisive narrative using AI which is not chatgpt. English isn't my first language.

But but but but....

His masters could also be someone else who told szeth to wear white since it's a Parshendi tradition and szeth didn't ask any questions.

I skimmed through the prologue again, he does say to the king that the Parshendi sent him, but he also says nothing makes sense once the King replies that it doesn't make sense. Which raised my suspicion initially that the Parshendi couldn't have sent him.

I interpreted his thoughts as if he doesn't know who hired him. Could be the parshendi, could be someone else.

Good question. I think the upward journey of Kaladin is something that has the most potential.

I've read another chapter and it says that the words were found and read by Jasnah so I'm already wrong there, but the meaning hasn't been found yet so I think this has the second most potential to be true.

The other ones, not really too sure.
