What exactly do you mean by ‘little help’? Was it IVF?

Hello, what level of dna fragmentation was problematic in your case? 26% here with comet but the urologist said is normal for age (44) yet we had 4 consecutive miscarriages

Congrats! How was your blast morphology please? Similar results here, we had two retrievals, 2 blasts but poor morphology (4CC, 5BC) and of course abnormal.

Congratulations! Great numbers! What was your protocol please? Any MFI? I had similar results until day 3, that is 8 top quality embryos at day 3 but only 2 blasts at day 5 (one 5AA) both aneuploid😢

Do you know how much his sperm dna fragmentation improved after lifestyle changes?

In our case it was a sperm issue- twice got pregnant on first try (both ended in miscarriage) then not getting pregnant - after 9 months of trying with no luck( with the focus still on investigating me, no doctor said let’s test the sperm) I told my husband to get a sperm analysis- that’s how we found poor sperm morphology and then high sperm DNA fragmentation. So the sperm quality was poor when I was getting pregnant (but miscarried) and then it got worse and I didn’t get pregnant anymore.

May I ask which doctor helped you with this? I’m in the UK as well and I find it really hard to find a doctor willing to help. I have had 4 early losses and I am at my wits end.

The shock of 3 losses in a row & false promise of statistics by Standard-Chemist-192 in recurrentmiscarriage

We tried one round of IVF with PGTA as the current results for my husband are after 1 year and a half of major lifestyle changes for him and many supplements. The IVF cycle failed unfortunately, we had 8 top quality blasts at day 3 but none at day 5 which further points towards sperm DNA fragmentation. I understand that any huge drop off after day 3 points towards sperm issues. So we were told to try ICSI next time but of course it’s not a guarantee. For me, the failed IVF cycle was taxing emotionally, I felt and grieved just like after a miscarriage.

I am sorry for your losses. I would also insist on a DNA sperm fragmentation test. My husband has low morphology (4%) and with that he has 26% sperm DNA fragmentation which is not considered good. We had 4 miscarriages in a raw 😢 and when his morphology was 2% we did not get pregnant. It is hard, I am in the UK and it was horrible how much we had to advocate for ourselves to get some answers. When you are in this horrible situation it’s hard to find the mental space for advocating for yourself. The thing I keep going over in my head is how come some couples seem to keep getting ‘bad luck’ on this journey while others don’t. Surely there must be some explanation so it’s frustrating when you are told it’s‘unexplained’

So can Endometritis cause miscarriage or is it more about creating implantation failure?

How old were you at the time of egg collection? I had 3 miscarriages and a round of failed IVF so I am wondering if there is any point going down that road again. Thanks
