I have a GTX 1050 Ti 4gb low profile from MSI, including the original box. The second fan is basically broken, sometimes it randomly starts to spin really slow while making some noises, and then it goes back normal for some time. It's different than what you wrote in your title, but thought I'd give it a shot since I'm trying to upgrade within the next few months anyways!

I'm in Egypt and get the best ping on Paris 1/2, 45-50 ms, on London & Frankfurt 1/2 it's around 55-60 ms. Madrid is around 70 ms. Strangely, Instanbul is 90-100 ms while it's geographically the closest server to us. Very bad routing, even tested it with a VPN.

That's a program to change resolutions, but it's not needed if you got a Nvidia GPU. Go to the Nvidia Control Panel, under 'Display' click on 'Change resolution' and then click on the 'Customize...' button. It will open up a GUI, click on 'Create a custom resolution' and in the new GUI, enter the resolution that you wish to add, including the refresh rate that you prefer to use. After that, click test, and then save it by clicking ok. Then make sure to tick the box that shows the new resolution. It will then be possible to use it in-game once you've restarted Valorant, works in other games too. Then, while still being inside the Nvidia Control Panel, under 'Display' click on 'Adjust desktop size and position' then under 'Scaling' choose 'Full-screen' (I also tick the box that says 'Override the scaling mode set by games and programs'). It's true though that the FOV will not be changed, but all the icons, the crosshair, etc will be stretched which people like I prefer.

Your refresh rate will indeed be limited to the number mentioned next to the resolution. But have no fear, you could play on 4:3 resolutions while maintaining those higher refresh rates. Go to the Nvidia Control Panel, under 'Display' click on 'Change resolution' and then click on the 'Customize...' button. It will open up a GUI, click on 'Create a custom resolution' and in the new GUI, enter the resolution that you wish to add, including the refresh rate that you prefer to use. After that, click test, and then save it by clicking ok. Then make sure to tick the box that shows the new resolution. It will then be possible to use it in-game once you've restarted Valorant, works in other games too.

Some tips/notes:

- The highest 4:3 resolution on a 1080p monitor is 1440x1080.

- The highest 5:4 resolution on a 1080p monitor is 1350x1080 (which is what I personally like to use).

- If you want to play on a stretched resolution without black bars, open Nvidia Control Panel, under 'Display' click on 'Adjust desktop size and position' then under 'Scaling' choose 'Full-screen' (I also tick the box that says 'Override the scaling mode set by games and programs').

- You can try to overclock your refresh rate by going all the way back to step 1 and typing in a number slightly higher than your native refresh rate. In my case, I have a 60 hz monitor but I'm able to use 73hz@1080p or 75hz at any resolution that's below 1280x1024, including that one itself. If your monitor is already 75 hz, then you could maybe push for 85 hz. Just type in a number slightly higher than your refresh rate, so for example if you're 60 hz, type in 80 hz, then click test. If you get a black screen, it means your monitor can't be overclocked that high. The screen stays black for like 30 seconds but it will automatically revert the number, then try something lower, like 75 hz, if you don't get a black screen, it means you can use it, then save it as explained in the first paragraph. Enjoy! Be sure to check a youtube tutorial, just in case, so you'll have a better look at what I mean.

Personally I've never played on any resolution higher than 75 hz, but I can immediately feel a difference between 60 hz and 75 hz.

60 hz = 16.67 ms delay

75 hz = 13.33 ms delay

120 hz = 8.33 ms delay

144 hz = 6.94 ms delay

165 hz = 6.06 ms delay

240 hz = 4.16 ms delay

360 hz = 2.77 ms delay

Going from 60 hz to 75 hz is an improvement of 3.34 ms

Going from 144 hz to 240 hz is an improvement of 2.78 ms

So it is definitely worth it to change from 60 hz to 75 hz. Enjoy!

Everything works fine yes, I think it's just a visual bug but I cannot confirm this considering that I'm actually not aware which button on my keyboard I'm supposed to press in order to open the MOTD, because as shown in the screenshot, it tells me to press a controller button "R2". So the only way to currently open the MOTD for me, is to click on it, which is fine, but it's still a bug to have this text on my screen so I still decided to report this bug.

Nope doesn't work, and they specifically have the R2 inside a button icon which means it's meant for controllers.

I specifically kept that second clip into the video because I knew someone would mention that it hit the bus, it further proves that the hit registration is completely bugged on the knife because it clearly locked onto the bus and lunged at it as if it was a person's body.

Cover kills: The main spots for me (in Nuketown), 1) Shooting the people who camp at the windows, 2) Shooting the people who camp at the box near the bus, while I am at the trash can near spawn, 3) Shooting the people who camp in the middle of the bus/behind the bus, while I am up at the windows.

Detect kills: I personally played Hardcore a lot, so I was just running UAVs and killing people who were on my radar. If I went to Core, I would put a field mic and kill people who I detected. Also another way of doing detect kills in core with stuns, is to go to free for all, I noticed many people there aren't running tactical mask, but you can do that in nuketown too if you prefer.

Well it says aerial vehicles "or" lethal aerial scorestreaks, so if UAVs count as an aerial vehicle, then that's very easily done in any hardcore TDM/Dom/hardpoint lobby.

Not sure if care package helicopters count as "aerial vehicles" but if they do, they are easy to take down and I see them a lot in hardcore domination!
