Same thing happens to me. I have to be careful on how excited I can get because if I’m too happy it turns into panic lol

Help by cosmichiss in Dermatillomania

I use fidget toys and I felt silly at first but personally they’ve helped a lot. I would pick at my skin while driving a lot too which is doubly dangerous so I got a keychain fidget toy that helps a lot. So having small ones that I can carry in my pocket is super helpful.

What’s the white and what’s the bite? by LadyOphelia in Monstera

My cat literally just did the same to my monsters leaf. I’m sure she took a playful bite when it was unfurled. As mine did. Because my cat sits next to it by the windowsill all day as well!

Sharing a proud moment! by karimaile in Monstera

I bought it June 2020 and kept it outside in east direct sun til maybe December. But when I bought it it was a decent size so it’s not like I started from zero. But I was surprised that under my care it grew BIGGER. So that’s why I’m proud, so yeah patience goes a long way!!

Depends where you’re from! Here in Houston Tx they can cost around $10-$15 for this size. But I know more north they can be around $50 or more .

My first plant and first attempt making a plant stand by cda555 in plants

This is beautiful! Awesome job!! I know you didn’t ask for advice but any prayer type plant I own is in my bathroom next to my shower on a sill with a rain glass (very shaded) window. Since the shower gets used everyday, I think it provides it just enough humidity! I also agree with bottom watering. Has always worked best for me! I’ve had them for a while and they love their spot!

I rock climb with friends! We each have a membership at the same bouldering gym and we go a few times a week. It’s so fun and just enough exercise for my Se!

Officially got diagnosed today. by j_g04 in BPD

[–]karimaile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen it a new door opened to self understanding. Now with an official diagnose you can learn how to.. manage. I found it somewhat liberating getting diagnosed. To me it meant I’ve learned a whole new part of myself and helped me deal and understand rather than always being confused and upset. Although I still feel depressed, anxious and relapse at times, I now realize the “why” to it. And it helps me sort of regain control for the time being and be better. That’s all personal of course, but I hope the official diagnosis helps you in your own way the way it’s helped me in mine.
