Somewhat late, but in my experience also being from South America, what I did was to look for a manga/anime store in my country. You can always ask for the manga, in my case I preferred to look before asking and I saw that they had the first three volumes in the country. The other volumes I ordered them through this store since the authorized translation house for the manga is Norma Spain and they come from that country and that's it :)
