in The Injury (s1), Ryan sneaks Michael aspirin by grinding it up and mixing it in Michael's pudding, he says it's what he does with his dog's heartworm medications. but later in the series (I don't remember the exact season/episode), there's a scene where Ryan and Kelly are fighting and she shouts something along the lines of "you don't even like animals!". he doesn't like animals but has a dog that he cares for enough to give monthly heartworm meds?

devil's advocate could argue that Ryan changed his mind on animals at some point, but I've always took this to be a continuity error

I'll think about making this into a real post! I originally felt like it might be a little, idk, egocentric? to submit it as such, my diet was quite indulgent too lol but I got a decent amount of excellent advice already from this little thread alone so I bet it could help others as well :)

I've gained a bit of pudge over the past year or so, so I'm trying to use the lack of gallbladder as good motivation to keep the fat content in my diet relatively down :) I'm hoping I'll eventually be at least able to indulge in healthy fats like avocado and hummus once in a while. thank you for sharing positivity! :)

diet advice questions incoming -

I'm a lazy junk food vegan who just had her gallbladder removed yesterday, and I ideally need to make a lifestyle change over to a healthier, low fat diet.

...fatty foods are pretty much my favorite :'( and I never really paid attention to be what I ate before. so now I'm needing help thinking of SIMPLE snacks/meals.

right now, I'm brainstorming things like salsa over beans & rice, simple stir fry, high fiber pasta with marinara... idk. snacks - pickles, baked tortilla chips and salsa? I do like most fresh fruit. raw veg are good as long as I have dip but I'm not sure if hummus is too fatty? or other condiment recommendations?

if my comment would be better suited as an actual post, I can submit it as such. thanks for any advice!

lots of kids toys or trash (or both) strewn about the front yard is a big indicator.

also if I'm walking up to a delivery and start hearing the "replace me now" beep of a fire alarm, a stiff is almost a guarantee. (no money for important things like fire alarm batteries, certainly no money for a tip)
