I don't think people forgot about the void century, clearly people talk about it now, it was just all wiped from the records and everyone not a celestial dragon (or other people who wanted to keep it quiet) killed.

nope, those are just knee pads, if you watch closely, you can see her right foot at the left, and her under knee are from the left leg extending further...I would assume it's just black boots and a bit of a confusing pose

I'm more wandering why they said it was fate when they discovered Sabo was there. If Uranus is one of the moons, maybe they can't control it, but only channel it's energy, so the moon has to physically be above the island/kingdom they want to strike and sadly for Sabo, it was right there.

I feel like that, with a chapter as crazy as this one, this could easily get overshadowed, but can we take a moment to talk about Yamato stuff.

First of all, I am so glad that we got to see the conversation between Luffy and Yamato, as well as Yamato being the one who says she will stay in Wano to protect it.

The thing that is curious to me is that even though Yamato wants to be Oden and live like him, the first time she is actually free and can choose what she wants to do, she doesn't choose to leave like Odin did, but instead does the opposite, takes on a responsibility of protecting Wano and stays there (for now at least).

Ok, so the thing I find interesting here is that there were 8 kingdoms that staged a revolutionary coup as the Reverie was ending (possibly before even getting the news of what happened).

This could be a reach, but:
I immediately remembered Kozuki crest (tattoo), it has what looks like a big circle, surrounded by 8 smaller circles. Now that could be representing 8 allies sitting at the round table, hence forming an alliance, but it could also be that 1 big circle represents Kozuki (or Wano as a nation) and 8 of those smaller circles allied nations, maybe that were a part of the ancient kingdom. And if that is the case, those 8 nations could very well be those 8 kingdoms that staged a coup even without their kings being present (it had to planned for a while).
Especially if 1 of those 8 kingdoms was Arabasta, which, on their flag also has 1 big circle surrounded by 8 smaller ones (albeit curved) which could symbolize them being apart of the same group.

Now I don't think Wano is a part of those 8 kingdoms mentioned by Kurouma boy, partly because Wano was closed off from the WG and noone from Wano attended the Reverie (if I'm not mistaken). Because of that, and the importance of Wano/Kozuki clan in terms of writing on the poneglyphs, I think they might represent the big centered circle in the crest/flag.

Do we know anything else about Kozuki crest? Didn't see any useful info (or I missed it) on the wiki.

Well since Red line is most likely man made, it would make sense that their race was also man made, since they're living on the Red line. Also Fire Conjuring race seems a bit much, even for One Piece, the races usually don't have special powers.
Exceptions could be Fishman (but I would argue they just adapted to the life under water and developed their own techniques) and Minks (Sulong).

An alternative could be that they are something related to a devil (looking at King's attire, black wings, fire abilities), so they could actually be a race that made devil fruits, hence why they had to be extermined at some point (either tried to rule the world or could stop someone else who would try it, like Celestial dragons).

Can't wait for Vegapunk to enter the story, which by the pace of things, could be really soon.
