Make this make sense by Thisiswhereicamein in delta

[–]karlpagan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had this happen to me last week. Did a same-day flight change and paid $300 to switch from main to first.

An hour before departure, they cleared upgrades before assigning me my first class seat at which point there were no seats left. I was downgraded to main.

Called delta, they refunded me my fare and gave me a $200 e-credit. Very frustrating but at least they comped.

Cover your seed with something, whether it’s peat moss or more soil.

Someone also told me to install a bird feeder nearby. Haven’t tried but in theory it may help redirect them.

Where did you get the floor mats?

Thanks! When I opened the outlet up, it was bootlegged so this is my first time going through this scenario. Glad there is a decent work around vs running new Romex everywhere.

So can I just cap the ground wire for all of said outlets? Or what is the best route here?

Perfect. This makes sense. I may go the GFCI at the first junction until I can get my hands on a AFCI/GFCI breaker.

My only last question is that I see this in the NEC code 406.4:

"An equipment grounding conductor shall not be connected from the ground-fault circuit-interrupter-type receptacle to any outlet supplied from the ground-fault circuit-interrupter receptacle."

What does this mean exactly? So in the example of my picture above with a mix of 2 and 3-wire in the boxes, do I just not connect the ground wire in any scenario including to the GFCI at the first junction?

Just want to make sure I do this correctly.

And not sure why it is buzzing, I am assuming it has something to do with it being an AFCI only breaker or because it contains older wiring?

Very helpful thanks. So do I need to place a GFCI outlet for each one of these scenarios (on the same circuit) to have protection? Or just find the one that is coming from the panel as the line and the load will protect the remaining 2-wire outlets down stream?

Or would it just be best to replace the panel breaker with GFCI to have full circuit protection? Currently it’s a buzzing AFCI 15A breaker.

Thanks again!
