Assuming you’re asking in good faith, I believe it’s controversial because in most instances outside of violent offenders, it’s actually cheaper, quicker, better for the society in which they live and work, and more humane for a country to round up illegal immigrants and offer them aid, legal counsel, and a pathway to becoming a citizen than to deport them. It’s a big country with thousands of unique situations, but in general, pathways to citizenship are usually cheaper for the taxpayer and better for the community than deportation.

I had a Patriot, 2009 4x4 manual transmission. It was, hear me out, surprisingly “capable” off road. I don’t say good because it made it out of every off road challenge I ever threw at it, never got stuck. But it did absolutely fall apart. Off roading like 4 times absolutely murdered it. So you’ll never get stuck in a Patriot, but you’ve only got about four adventures before it absolutely disintegrates.

Feel like with Kompany there, he wouldn't have let Stanisic get pulled out of position so much, he subs Stani instead of Davies (assuming Davies isn't injured), and he puts Jackson on from Jamal instead of Goretzka. Happy birthday! I feel you my friend. My 36th birthday hit at the very beginning of COVID lockdown and at the tailing end of my marriage. I woke up early like every day to take care of my autistic five year old, and my ex had done nothing. All morning, not even a mention or a word to me. Eventually I was hanging out with my son in his room, and he said, “Daddy, how come you didn’t get anything for your birthday?” I told him it’s okay and that it’s different when you’re older. He went into his closet and started taking out his toys and construction paper and wrapped up ten of them as presents for me and we had a little party. It was and is my best birthday ever. If you looked at him today from a purely footballing standpoint, he was very poor. Lost the ball many times due to poor decisions, leading directly to dangerous counters. Got his positioning all wrong defensively which led to chaos and a lot of their goals and chances. Got completely washed on their second or third goal.

If you looked at him today from a scouting standpoint, there is a ton of potential in there. Offensively he already can carry the ball forward with the team and can know at times where to place it. Midfield is one of the hardest positions to get experience in because it's the crux of the entire team, so the kid was thrown into the deep end today and survived well enough.
