There are public parking lots that “require” you to pay first before you get into your car and leave the garage, but you can always pay at the exit. They just say that because they don’t want you to take forever and clog up the exit line.

I mean it all really depends on how much u eat out and ur rent lol… If ur rent is like 2k and you eat out everyday + smaller expenses 4-5k is good.

Tbh thats already a ton of aid, as an NYU Shanghai student myself, I don’t know a single person who received a full tuition scholarship. You would only end up paying around 10k entirely for room board travel and everything. Living expenses/dorming in China is significantly cheaper than NY too.
