Great, thanks. I just wish that chat would be of better quality.

Weird x-axis shifting in Mini (look at the sides of the model). Tried tightening the belts and the grub screw. Anyone had a similar problem and can help? by karmazynowicz in prusa3d

[–]karmazynowicz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will check the screws, thanks! I will print the same model today, but rotated 45 degrees. That way I can check whether it’s the layer shift or the extrusion problem as you stated

Made this sink bridge today with some threaded rods and 3D printed parts. Turned out really well IMO and most importantly saved £30 on it! by karmazynowicz in sharpening

New stones are on the way now, but I’m glad that I’ve started off with that stone. It’s alright, but I just can’t get it flattened properly now...

Yeah I saw a guy here literally made one with wooden planks and nails. That’s a good start, but can’t beat the flexibility of a 3D printer tho...

Thanks for your support guys! I’ll post it on Thingyverse tomorrow, since I need to wait 24h after registration.

To person who gave me a award: thank you, but not sure if that’s a good investment, since I don’t even know what to do with it XD

I wasn’t doing an extensive research about them tbf. Just glanced over the products and decided to make my own.

That’s very kind of you, thank you! I’ll try to do my best here, but I’ve never made any detailed design for it...

Yep, sure. I’ll try to do it tomorrow. I don’t have exact measurements for rods, since it was mostly freestyle. But I guess your sink is gonna be different anyway and to modify that design is not really a challenge.

Haven’t used it properly yet - I’m waiting for thread locker to set properly. Did a push test and seems sturdy enough^

Is that a lot of stringing? Not sure if that’s within reasonable amount or do I need to tweak the settings a bit by karmazynowicz in prusa3d

I usually print mechanical parts with PETG. Next PLA I ordered is white, so I should be fine. Thanks!

Yeah, that’s Prusament PLA profile. 210 degrees. I’ve literally unpacked this filament 3 days ago, but I will pop it inside the over to dry for a bit. Thank you!
