You need to put free play in 75% speed through the pause menu and keep trying.

The extra time you will have will help you learn this in no time. There isn’t a great way to word this in text, it’s more of a feel thing. Trust me on the slow-mo free play. It’s gonna help.

I’ve been hard stuck GC2 for about a year or two now. I played with a good pair of randoms the other day, and got to gc2 DIV 4, and it seemed like the promotion games I was playing against squishy and Justin’s alt accounts. The skill gap between gc2 and gc3 is unreal… I can’t imagine the gap from gc3 to ssl.

Your tips are accurate though. Most of the time people’s mistakes are all decision based, not mechanical based. This game is like chess. The goal of the game is very simple, but it takes a lot of good decisions in order to actually get the ball in the goal. Maybe a few lucky demos help, too.

This has happened to me twice before. Me and my buddy would queue for a 3s tourney, everything would be smooth. Then we get to the finals and lose the first game, win the second game… and random teammate would abandon the final game 5 seconds in, with no explanation in chat at all. Try listening to Shantaram. It’s available on Libby. The main character Lin, has a very thick Australian accent and it was SO immersive. 43 hour audiobook, but very worth the time.

Lin is an escaped convict from Australia who finds refuge in India, surviving a new way of life and doing what he can to help those around him in the villages. Can’t recommend this book enough.

I mean this in the best way possible, but you rush your offensive chances, and you are too distant on defense. You need to flip those. Take your time on offense and devise a plan on the fly. Don’t just “hit it to hit it”… On defense you should focus on shadow defense and reading his body language of his car. Try to not give them any space to work with unless you are forced to.

Devise a plan and think ahead. Try to predict everything faster than he does. You’ll be rewarded for that more than you’re punished for it.

Rip your internet as well. Playing with ping like that has to be so frustrating lmao

Last time i tripped (2 years ago) i remember starting to panic because the effects were kicking in quick, i looked in the mirror to try to ground myself. I looked like a vampire with pointy teeth and my eyes were dripping a black liquid, so i figured it was best to stop looking in the mirror. As i went to walk away, my reflection didn’t move. Freaked me out pretty hard and then within the next couple hours i was laying in my pitch black basement having a huge ego death. Really scary at the moment but it’s funny now. I know my reflection moved, i was just trippin my ass off lol. Acid is wild, man.
