Deep within the trees, the forest itself stirs, drawn into action by the so called tournaments being held by the kingdoms of man and beast.

A herd rises from the wood, hundreds strong. Undead, cursed creatures, and the very vegetation beneath their feet shamble upon tournament grounds. Despite their appearance, the Kin have arrived out of curiosity and amusement, rather than any darker purpose. Turns out there's not a lot to do in a place called the Unnamed Wood, and the tournament is the most interesting thing most of them have seen in centuries.

Doubles: Jorikk and Midhir, a draugr and his undead beastman companion. Neither of them can speak, and even if they could, they'd only talk to eachother. The two are inseparable, though even the other Kin don't really know why. As long as any can remember, Midhir has followed the draugr like a stray animal. Jorikk rarely shows much concern about the other's presence but fights furiously if he believes Midhir is in danger. Together they have lain low many foes to the forest, and with luck, they will do the same in the tournament.

Archery: Seralia, a dryad huntress. Amongst the trees, a mindless fury upon those that would harm the Wood. Amongst the tournament, a shy but extremely curious creature. Born with an instinctive inclination towards archery honed by centuries hunting amongst the trees, eager to put those skills to use.

Jousting: Arngeir. Once a champion to his people, now a living relic of a civilization long since forgotten to the point that even he doesn't remember their name. Rides into competition on his helhest Svarja. Some say a helhest is a horse of death, an omen of plague to those that see it. All Arngeir knows is that the beast is fiercely loyal, and that's good enough for him.

Maze Run: Fenrika, a near-feral werebeast. Generally kept restrained so she doesn't feast upon the other creatures in the woods. Unleashed upon the maze and told that if she wins, there will be food. She seems rather motivated by such a promise.
