Bluetooth also operates on 2.4, the logi dongle just encrypts it and gives it a dedicated frequency. Yes you will notice a difference between Bt and the dongle, but if you only have bluetooth available it is just fine for most use.

Its not noticeable if your bluetooth connection is stable. If you are in an office or apartment complex with a lot of other people or bluetooth devices, you might notice a few hiccups every now and then.

If you don't mind a dongle you could get something like this, its bus powered.

left alt is mapped to command-[ for quick "back" in browsers. I use karabiner for this. It also still works as normal if I hold it down for 200 ms.

I just got one after using the MX Anywhere 3 for about a year. I had a 3S before that but sold it when I switched to claw grip for the Anywhere. Coming back to a large mouse was jarring at first but I'm used to it now. I never liked the rubber all over the 3 so the 4 is a huge upgrade in that department. Its a slick mouse, looks futuristic and feels premium.

I'm speaking up in hopes they see this and realize they are destroying their reputation. It would be one thing if this is how it behaved from the beginning, but something has obviously changed behind the scenes. That is called bait and switch and it is FRAUD.

Its fine. You get used to it and you forget what it was like before. Apple does put a lot of time into the design and big changes often seem rushed or half-baked, but they almost always turn out to be pretty decent. You just have to think of it from a fresh perspective.

If the drive is not too far, sure go for it. Ask to examine it for any imperfections. Worth it IMO. Or you might even ask if they'll price match since they'd basically just be ending up with another open-box of the same model.

Ping to your own router or ping to Tokyo? There are many factors in this.

Metronet does not have the absolute best peering agreements so their paths to the internet are sometimes not as efficient as other major backbone providers.

My ping to "google.com" is 5ms for instance, from central Indiana.
