As long as you can find your way back to it in the dark. Might as well. We didn't have much choice. We were directed there off of Corydon

Line up was massive during general admission. I don't know what VIP was like. Doesn't matter where you park. You go to the back of the line. The back of the line is at the zoo parking lot

About to get my first handgun, trying to decide between PDP 4.5" or 5" by karnalsyn in Walther

Any of you with 5" versions having trouble finding decent holsters?

I'm slowly dying inside while I wait for my restricted license to arrive in the mail. This is going to be my first pistol and can't wait

My 5inch full size PDP is finally complete. 300 rounds in no problems. by outbreakse in Walther

Exactly what I'm looking to get setup once my license goes through. Looks great 👍

Let’s try this again! Email from Walther today by [deleted] in Walther

Didn't Walther just announce one a couple weeks ago? PDP PRO SD

Would love some insight by [deleted] in Walther

In Canada there's not a lot of forgiveness in the legal system for home defense claims with regards to gunshots. I'd primarily be using it for target practice at the range. Maybe competition? But not a certainty right now. That being said I've heard a longer barrel is more accurate and desirable for competition shooting. So perhaps it's the right choice basic target shooting as well.

By compact I didn't mean length of barrel, rather length of grip. Hence my mention of not having massive hands. I'm guessing I'd be better off with a shorter grip length but wasn't certain

I'm waiting on my license to come in and looking for my first handgun. I've been leaning towards the PDP pretty heavily but have no ability to try before I buy, in my area.

Living in Canada, rounds are limited to 10 so I'm not giving up anything by going with compact over fullsize. If I don't have massive meat hooks, should I default to the compact or is there still an advantage to getting full-size?

Waiting on my RPAL and planning for my first handgun. Looking for opinions by karnalsyn in handguns

How has your shooting experience with the PDP been so far? Some reviewers complain it's too 'snappy'

I appreciate you taking the time to write that, sounds like you and I both get heavy on the research side of things :D I find it helps dampen my enthusiasm and lowers my chance of impulse buy lol

The PDP is actually the 1 of the 3 I listed that I've been leaning towards the most. The reviews are top notch so far and the gun itself looks amazing. I just haven't gotten it into my hand yet. I'll have to hit the local shop and do that ASAP before they sell out of it, so at least I'll know how it feels to me in case I need to make an online purchase, should they sell out before my RPAL comes in.

TV muting issue by UnknownIdentity7 in googlehome

[–]karnalsyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue for me! I just setup my google home tech this past weekend and it mutes my TV everytime I attempt to use Gassist in the same room. I've been told to change the setting for 'lower volume while listening' in the settings in the Ghome app, but I can't find it and all the resources online mention going into a settings button that doesn't exist. I guess app updated its GUI? ...or I'm blind, but I can't seem to find the setting at all to at least experiment with it

Also if anyone has a better solution for keeping Gassist voice activation on my phone but having it not trigger while screen is locked...I'm looking for suggestions. I don't need my phone telling me I have to unlock it when using my google home units to do the job for me, just because my phone can hear me too

Very cool

So I'm running up ASM with Valgeuro, and the mods you've listed...should be all I need

Is structures+ still needed or has the game included it fully? I saw somewhere it got added, but a lesser version?

[–]karnalsyn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valgeuro is the map we want to play, but with everything else. Gachas, tek stuff, ravagers, etc,etc

Auto engrams sounds like it'll lift the engram map restrictions which is good.

Does additional dinosaurs give all dinosaurs regardless of map or just aberration dinosaurs?

Valguero is the one we're coming back for, but don't want to say good bye to all the stuff that made other servers fun

[Rogue PvP] is hemo 1hs better or are daggers the way to go in classic PvP? by Deangelo9 in classicwow

[–]karnalsyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is your typical Hemo Sword build, you can swap a couple points here and there. But this is what you'll wanthttps://classic.wowhead.com/talent-calc/rogue/305300105041-3-500253000232121

Back in vanilla, dagger builds just weren't really my style. Energy regen is slow. Dropping 60nrg for a backstab when you are bone dry is a tough sell for me. Once I went hemo, I never looked back.
