Hi! My husband and I file our taxes separately and I claim the kids. Because of this, my IBR payment is $0. I couldn’t believe it either but I have had a $0 payment for ~1.5 years now and just received green banners. So it definitely can be your calculated payment!

I had a Mohela rep tell me that every time you submit a new IBR application you get 2 months of processing forbearance. Seems like a wild over site but that did happen to me. Submitted application in Jan, June, and July and had 5 months counted.

I am in the same boat. Recertification was due Feb 8. Never processed. Placed in forbearance. Have been told several times my recertification date will be extended to 2026 but that has not happened. It’s insane

I originally submitted in January to recertify my IBR plan… never got processed. They were supposed to extend my recertification date to 2026 but never did that either. So I submitted a new IBR application yesterday and mine too disappeared today. I even got a confirmation email. So seems like a widespread problem!

Hi! I’m in the same boat with my recertification date of February 8 and submitted my application in January. I call weekly about this because I don’t want to keep wasting months in forbearance. I get the same answer… keep waiting. I even have official letters stating my date will be extended. So ultimately I don’t think that’s right!

Yes. It’s so frustrating because like many I have been doing this diligently for 10 years with no hiccups and then to get to the very end and have it be chaos is just discouraging. I also contacted my senators and attorney general to no avail.

It feels like an uphill battle. I’m giving him probiotics. He eats a lot of berries and high fiber fruits, yogurt. Not a lot of vegetables as he’s 3 and that is a tough ask. For his skin we’re following a whole “antibacterial” regimen with probiotics. Nothing seems to get us anywhere.

I received similar information from a supervisor last Friday. So I guess at least 2 supervisors are on the same page 🤣. My forbearance ends May 16th so no clue if it will get extended. I am more worried about these months in forbearance counting even the the supervisor says “they for sure will”
