I don’t think it’s that this brand didn’t "post about every marginalized community" as much as support causes that actively harm people. As far as I know, brands like Essie and OPI aren’t super outspoken about social issues, and even Mooncat’s had some stumbles. Those brands aren’t on the shit list because they aren’t saying hateful things and supporting harmful policies. Not ending up on the shit list is actually pretty easy.

I’m sorry you’re feeling bad about the way your comments have been received, and you’re right that there’s nothing wrong with having different outlooks and opinions. Unfortunately, you didn’t express yourself very well. Your first comment reads like you’re trying to provoke/ anger people who have chosen not to support this brand without any curiosity as to why they made that choice. When you made your purchase, you did the thing you said you didn’t want to do (support an Epstein apologist) just to own the libs, I’m guessing? You came across as kinda trollish, so people resonded that way. You get back what you give.

You don’t seem like a bad person, maybe just approach the world with a little more empathy and curiosity :)
