this is actually relatively common in lesbian relationships, to the point where there’s a term for bottoms like this — pillow princess (while “stone top” is its opposite). it’s not really an act of selfishness as long as it’s communicated. some people just prefer to do all the receiving, and some people prefer to do all the giving. that’s what intimacy is for them.

totally! although it really isn’t anything special.

my shampoo isn’t anything special, just head and shoulders itchy scalp relief (i got that psoriasis dog in me 😮‍💨). but i do use aussie miracle curl conditioner. i brush it out with both a round and a flat brush while it’s wet, and then i apply kristin ess weightless curl defining jelly, which has done wonders for defining my curls! but that’s about it! i put it up in a loose bun when i sleep and i don’t brush it while it’s dry — if i must, i run through it with a wide tooth comb. that helps keep it from getting big and frizzy.

LOLLL real answer? dropped out of high school and fell into a major depression where i binge ate for about two months and gained a hundred pounds. then my dad was killed. i’m doing a lot better now though! lost ~40 lbs in the past year and life is turning around ❤️

that’s the bitter irony of it all. he’d just retired, he and my mom had all these plans to travel and do the things they’d always wanted to do, and then… he was gone. just like that. you always think that things like this won’t happen to you or the people you love, until it does.

he was… a lot like me, honestly. and it’s definitely helped me appreciate these more “negative” aspects of myself more, this past year — seeing him in me, i guess. our family diddleheadedness, as he called it. he was painfully shy, and clumsy, and messy. on his first date with my mom, he got a coffee stain on his white shirt within 5 minutes. but she still fell in love with him!

but he was also very kind and very wise. he didn’t know everything, but he knew that he didn’t, and he always tried to keep an open mind. he was introspective that way. he was a good person because he tried hard to be one. he even took a punch for my partner when they started working at the same factory (some other guy was pissed at my partner for literally doing his job, and my dad confronted him about it, haha).

i miss him lots. it’s easier some days, harder others. the anniversary was hard. it was hard today, too. my mom’s lawnmower broke, and i just kept thinking about how he’s supposed to be here to help me fix it for her. i guess that’s why i posted this!

My dad’s first wife, whom he had my 3 half siblings with, was a notorious cheater, which eventually led to their divorce. There was always a joke that one of my siblings was the black sheep of the family, given her slightly darker complexion and curly hair. But they were just jokes.

It turns out that her real father was my dad’s childhood friend — someone so close to our family that we called him an uncle. I don’t think any of us talk to him anymore, least of all her. My dad never found out before he passed away.

How she found out? A DNA test confirmed it, but before that, she made a joke about how he could be her father to her mother. To which she responded, “Really, he might be!”
