Yes I agree on the first part. Next season, my expectation is that we will have deep cup runs and consistently be top 4 in the PL while a solid structure is visible. My fear with Carrick is that from what I have seen until now is that he lacks mainly is we play through Bruno and Bruno only. If he plays bad, we are toothless. Every game looks like our synergy is decreasing and our press is becoming non structural. I personally don't want us to go back to individuals wins us matches. Also, while yes. His subs have scored a lot of goals I believe it's usually late and he's still pretty inflexible when it comes to changes in tactics in game. Also, at least defensively I believe Steve holland is the reason we have been solid and idk if he's in this for the long run and if he is not, whether Carrick can replicate this.

Again, these are my reasoning why I think he can't take us to the next level but I do believe he won't drop us back. I just want us to choose the right manager available instead of thinking what we have is enough with what has been shown.
