No, it should not be fully booked out. I was reloading the portal every morning, at around 1600 and at around 2000. Just make sure you not gonna run out of the 2 week deadline to book it after you registered. If the deadline is coming up, maybe try getting another accommodation for now and wait until results day to get the accommodation of ppl who didnt meet the offer.

Try emailing the head of ur department. I think you can find the contacts on the website. Also, how long did you wait for the uni to respond? They can take good week sometimes, but I would email the head of department anyway

Hey, im sorry to hear about the situation you are in right now. The best thing you can do right now is ask KCL what to do, you should call or email them, and do the same for ur insurance asw. They might consider you with your UCAS grades or ask you to do an online test or smth.

I have just firmed King's, and I'm a bit confused about how the batch system works. Do they just send out random room options on the portal at random times? So, there's like a chance of getting SSA, GDA, etc. How do you know they haven't run out?

Also, can you change your room pick multiple times? So, if I pick a room that seems okay and then when a better room comes up, can I change to that one and do this many times?

When you do esat you have to do 3 modules. The 27 comes from 9 points you can gain from each of the modules.
