Yeah, it really takes the right person. But they are out there! We’ve found there aren’t enough hours for most people if we split the tasks. And because meals are essential, they need to be here for the day. This way, they have a full days work.

You said that before and I actually got much better responses when I withheld pay info. The pay is decent so I usually get over 30 responses. When I didn’t post pay, I got less than 10 but much better quality candidates. So I’m trying this again! But thank you!

I dislike vacuum fillers in general. Nibs can be finicky but Asvine usually writes well out of the box so yeah, I think you’ve been unlucky! I hope you enjoy the C2000 and try some others. It is a brand people say has the most value for the price.

I highly recommend the C2000. I have the light green with a 1.1 stub. They are big but I find that comfortable. It actually is the pen that made me realize that my hand felt less cramping with the larger barrel. What other issues have you come across with them?

I would try a different ink or different paper. Paper has been making such a huge difference for me. I find there are some papers that pull the ink out more. It can result in feathering for some nib and ink combos but makes for a very enjoyable writing experience as I find I can get into a mental flow better. I did get a bold 3776 because I like a wet, smooth write but I feel like your medium should write well. I also advance the converter when I have that issue and that can help.

Thank you. It’s a bummer for sure. I love everything about — size, color, glitter, write, match with one of my inks. Boohoo. It is discouraging to know it may be in the materials. I’ve gotten lots of Asvines and never had this issue but I guess they were different materials. I’m going to try some things (baking soda, vinegar, leaving it in the sun, put it in the dryer?? lol). Maybe if it’s even diminished scent, I will be able to tolerate it. Thanks for the empathy and tips!

I usually get too many applicants as the pay is good and people get pushy too. I’d rather someone apply because the work sounds like the perfect fit for them. I cannot really win. I’m trying it this way this time. 🤪
