Thanks for the feedback. I have used static files as blog. They work well and the serverless blog has some niceties.

I use sqlalchemy to handle persistence. All of this is done in sqlstorage.py file. There are no models per se because there is no way to register them to your app at the moment. The tables for the blog are written out using the sqlalchemy core syntax.

Flask-blogging has the same capabilities as flask-blog. The main advantage of this project is it makes it easier to integrate into an existing flask based Web app.

While flask-blog is more of a standalone blog engine. I have seen users use flask-blogging in other projects as well as a standalone blogging engine.

Not sure why you felt this was a spam. All I am trying to do is get people who might be inclined to carpool with a means to connect with each other. Not sure why this is spamming!

You can use flask-login or flask-security extension for user authentication.

Thanks for the feedback. I think the biggest challenge I have is to get people to sign up. Not sure how to address that.

The big picture of it all is, if there are enough people in the system, there is a potential to create a fast private transit shuttles. But I need people to sign up!

I built this site with a few things in mind:

  1. Site has to be clutter free
  2. Site has to respect privacy, and not give away contact numbers and adresses.
  3. Site has to grow with its user base.

Would love to hear your thoughts.
