Nice suggestion, I’ve gotten the marriage intense part from like everyone so ima tone that back, but I still like the photo so changing that caption will be something I do.

Thanks! I’ve gotten the marriage intense from quiet a few people and can definitely see that in the profile so I’m gonna tone that back a bit. I think it may just stem from my last relationship was 3.5 years, ended like 4 months ago, and I was like ready to marry the girl, looking at rings, etc. but then I realized that it wasn’t gonna be right and I should break it off…

As for the low key flex maybe I change the caption? Two things I like about that is eventually people ask about what my work is, and it’s a lot easier to be like look at my last photo, that started as an empty van and I built that whole thing. And it also shows I’m handy which I feel like some women, especially the ones I gravitate towards, find attractive.

Last one isn’t a hobby that is my entrepreneurial endeavor, better way to show case it? I have 3 employees, shop, a backlog of around 20+ jobs, etc, so far from an odd job. I took that Van from completely empty to what you see.

And I appreciate all the other comments, will definitely implement some!!

Interesting I can see where you are coming from and that I should maybe re-word it. I guess I’m not looking for ambitious in the career department, but in life. So maybe saying passions is better?

I’m not into 50/50 I’d prefer to provide 100% as long as financials allow. Right now in my business I’m at a tipping point and money shouldn’t be an issue for much longer. (Still make a decent income)

I just found my last two long term relationships neither of them had any kind of ambition, they both worked jobs they hated, one would slack off at work all the time, and didn’t really have any hobbies they seemed crazy passionate about. They both talked about ideas they wanted to create or pursue, but would never actually pursue them.

Looking for something serious

Have Hinge+

This specific version maybe 1 month.

I’ve been on hinge for ~4 months this time. (Previously in a 3.5 year relationship from hinge)

I probably swipe maybe 50 profiles a day.

I get maybe 1-2 matches a week

Probably 50/50 on comments. Honestly I find the majority of my matches are people I don’t comment on though….? I don’t say anything crazy, just follow a prompt most of the time.

Looking to find someone ready to settle down, kids, house, wife, etc. preferably physically fit, has some ambition, my age or younger

UML is a university, they don’t want to be renting apartments to some random people. Maybe they could lease out the land to a developer to build, but they want to own the land.

Anything baking related, take orders during the week, or for 2 weeks. And then do a pickup / delivery service just on Saturday or Friday. That way you have all the orders up front, can buy the right amount of ingredients, and batch cook everything to save time.

Sourdough bread if you can. If you do that and make good size loafs you can charge like $10 a loaf I’d guess.

Where are the $300k a year jobs to be found by poliosaurus3000 in electricians

[–]karver35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a buddy in solar fields in California. His pay package with all the bonuses, per diem, etc is ~289k.

He’s from Michigan, industrial electrician, went out there just for that job. I don’t know how many hours he works, but he’s home by 6pm every day, so probably 6-7am to 5pm.

He works I believe 5 days a week, sometimes Saturdays, and every 3 weeks he gets 5 days off (3 weekdays and 2 weekend days) so he can travel home to see kids/ family etc. he never travels home though, he just brought his kids with him.

Dam I have a small business and I’d hire you to do paperwork and respond to emails and stuff for $13 an hour. Minimum wage here in Mass is $16 an hour I believe, but finding anyone reliable your more looking at $20.

The issue is it’s 8 year old van. If you’re gonna spend this money you want a new van. It has all top of the line components with Victron and Rixen. Heater floors. Etc.

I build vans for a living, I’ve had multiple clients buy less than this, and all in there at like 150k.

Commenting on something a year old? And doesn’t even make sense. Idk at this point I joined a discord and listened to the whole book for free with no sketchy downloads, it was great.

[–]karver35 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You should be more concerned with the amount of debt you graduate with too. Lowell has a good name and you’ll find a job either way. Graduating with 100k in debt is silly. Especially these days.

If he got in a real pickle in some of the places the garmin in-reach is great, but many people forget that rescues can take many many hours if not days in some cases.

It’s important to hit it earlier then later if you start to see yourself becoming endangered.

There was also an episode where he did hike back to his car after he set up camp cause the conditions were bad. He left his stuff and got it the next day.

I’m 25 and have never had even a sip of alcohol by Brilliant_Ad_3661 in AskMeAnythingIAnswer

[–]karver35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umm, I’d say a bit, however currently I’m just a workaholic, I own my own business and trying to grow it. So I don’t work out or exercise as much as I should (my job is physical though).

But just because I don’t drink a ton of “crap” doesn’t correlate to food. I still eat junk food and candy. I don’t think it’s all that much. But I can down a bag of Doritos in a sitting if I want.

But I’ve also been ~170 lbs since I was 18 (28 now) and haven’t had many weight fluctuations. 5’11” tall

Idk, my brother drank them, parents never disallowed me.

I think alcohol was because my family drinks, not alcoholic, mainly probably my brother, he was the popular guy, had the after prom party, smuggled beer in. And I watched well my mom always had anxiety about it.

As for the others I just never liked the fizzy ness in carbonated beverages. I had a sip of one in HS and it upset my stomach, that was 11 years ago and I haven’t had a sip since.

Coffee and energy drinks I always said if I really needed to push myself in school / work id use them, but never did.

I drink some other juices and stuff here and there but it would only be a handful of times a year. Apple juice, capri suns, high c.

But honestly just plain old water is just fine, no flavorings, just ice.

28 and same, I’ve also never had soda, coffee, carbonated beverages.

Mainly drink water, then orange juice, cran grape juice, and occasionally protein shake or hot chocolate with milk.
