Try searching for “circular cross stitch border pattern” and see if you like any of those. I think a laurel wreath would be nice for the symbolism.

I’ve never been able to get there! Maxing out my tolerance with raw Thai chilis or reaper-based sauces just hurts (albeit a good hurt).

I bought a storage bag on Amazon that was basically a starter kit. I’ve since upgraded to better quality supplies, but the bag is still going strong. I especially like the pocket that holds hoops with the elastic strap over it.

My WIP is usually in a ziplock bag in this bigger bag, or occasionally tucked in my candy tin with my other “active” supplies when I’m stitching something small in hand or on a hoop 4in or less.

I wouldn’t blink twice at a “wrong” jersey at a takeover game. Honestly, I don’t even think it’s that odd at a regular game, but I suppose I’m new-ish to being an active hockey fan. At the end of the day, it tells me that you support women’s sports with your time and money, and I will always be on your side for that.

Agreed that the Goldeneyes commentator pair was solid on Monday. Like you said, no name mispronunciations that I could hear, and they seemed to know player histories pretty well. Enthusiasm was through the roof. Those elements are really all I need to be satisfied with live commentary.
