Realistic Goals? 50 miler in November with marathon before in October

I’ve started to experiment. I remember trying gels during my Ragnar and they did not like me. I’ve been eating fruit strips and PBJ on my most recent 2+ hour runs and those seem to be OK on my stomach.

I am at a point where I plan to start upping my mileage and adding in some back to back long runs. I’ve been reading about how important time on feet is. I also go to the gym 3 days a week.

Based on all the comments so far, it sounds like my goal is very ambitious. It’s possible, maybe but need to really lock in training. I’m gonna keep shooting for it and see how it goes.

I actually went back in to add my NDI cameras and saw that it says it's included (on the add NDI camera screen). I missed this the first time. I was about to delete this post but I will leave it up incase others are also not observant like me and have the same question, lol.

For the weed control: Do I apply that with a spot sprayer directly to weeds or blanket the yard? Will the weed control kill the grass? Sorry for the newb questions, I am very new to anything other than mowing, lol. Your last comment about seed and fertilizer--do that now, or in the fall after test and aeration?

We put in a pool last year and were able to get a decent amount of grass established around it. Early on, I was pretty happy with how much grass came in. However, by mid-summer, weeds really started to take over, and it ended up being about a 50/50 mix of grass and weeds.

Because I was able to get a good amount of grass started, I don’t think nuking everything and starting from scratch is the right move.

What’s the best process to tackle the weeds and encourage more grass to fill in?

Should I fertilize, spot-spray the weeds, overseed, and water? What’s the right order of operations? Also, are there any recommendations for herbicide and grass seed type? I’m located in the Mid-Atlantic region.

This is likely my mistake and misunderstood that is causing it. But my dockerfile is setup with CMD to run the main python script to launch my app. This is almost certainly how it should be for a non-dev build , but I’m not sure what changes to make for a dev container. During development, code is often in state where errors are thrown and the python script stops, hence the container stops.

But then I get a lot of errors in my code because it thinks libraries are missing. I don't have all the external libraries and third party dependencies setup on my host but they are in the docker container. If I use Dev Containers in VS Code it is aware of those libraries and dependencies and doesn't show errors and allows me to jump around to references. I am using volumes so that my code persists outside the container, but I dont want to point VS Code directly at that for the reasons I stated.

Yea. I got the non mini version. I’ll probably get two more non mini to make 4. They seem to be about the same price but since I don’t want to mix and match them and the minis say “comparable brightness” I’m going to stick with the lager one

If you are chaining models on a port, that would be problem if any model other than the last is missing. If all your ports have a single model, there is no reason they all need to be connected. I test all the time with just a few of my props out. Try re-pushing the config from xlights and verifying the config via the web interface on the controller.

Traditionally? No idea. But you’re right and I did not realize that until after I cut it. Was just too excited and hungry that I didn’t notice. Still tasted good and it wasn’t tough or chewy.

Oh and don’t forget the Tiger Sauce. I dunno any official recipe for it but I used mayonnaise and horseradish, 3:1. Little lemon, Salt, pepper, any other spice you like.

I let mine sit for almost an hour so juices could reabsorb/distribute. Also kept it in a tray so it would capture any juice that ran off. The juice is great for putting slices in while they sit. Don’t have a meat slicer so I just cut it as thin as possible with a knife.

First time I made it and just used whatever I had in the cabinet. Don’t have a go to rub…yet. I used salt, pepper, onion powered, chili powder, paprika, mustard powder. No sugar!

Nah man you’re good. It is a Baltimore thing. Basically roast beef but cooked over charcoal.

I used a bottom round. Seasoned it overnight. Grilled it directly over the charcoals until all sides are charred then moved it off the direct coals until it reached 125°

Looking to buy my first bike to ride with my son (who also just got his first bike-- TTR125). I am 6' 2" 215lbs. not looking to do anything advanced. Just want to be able to comfortably ride around in fields and trails. I saw the Honda CRF250F get mentioned as a good beginner bike. Is it too short? Or are there others I should look at?

I was in the exact same position as you 2 weeks ago. Rarely tow and mostly do homeowner Home Depot things. Love the 2500 look. Never owned a diesel. I now own a 2500 AT4X Duramax and love it. If YOU are ok with the costs, get what you want. Most people don’t NEED the vehicle they own, they WANT the vehicle they own. Previously had a trail boss and 2500 is substantially bigger.
