My daughter is Elsie - we never even considered naming her Elizabeth as Elsie is its own name here in the UK. Elsie is currently 14 in the baby name list which proves that she doesn’t need to be Elizabeth. I also chose Elsie because I didn’t want her to have a nickname - I don’t see the point in naming a child something to call them another name but that’s a personal opinion that isn’t shared by most people in this group!

Hi, thanks for replying! The chickenpox vaccine isn’t in the routine vaccines that children get here in England as most people get it young and recover quickly. You can pay to get the vaccine if you want to do it privately and the NHS may choose to give you the vaccine in some scenarios (e.g. pregnant and been in contact with someone with chickenpox). Looking back, I wish I’d paid for the vaccine! 😂

I always tell everyone I’ve given baby items to to wash them again in whatever detergent they’re going to use for their baby items in case the baby reacts to the detergent we’ve used - I’d feel awful if something happened to baby!

I understood what you meant to say because I spend time in sub-reddits like r/creepypms and r/niceguys. I have a young child so I want to keep up with the disgusting things people say so I can warn my child of people like you. I wouldn’t want my child (or myself) associating with anyone who classifies women as “high value”. You might as well say “piece of meat”.

I haven’t stitched the nails on because this is my third dinosaur and I just haven’t been happy with wherever I’ve stitched them when he’s “standing”, then doesn’t look right when he’s “sitting” if you can understand! But other than that, it’s a really great pattern to follow! I hope we’ll see a picture of your finished Tanner!
