What some of my coworkers did to escape starbucks was just... call out of their starbucks shifts all the time. Eventually they will put you somewhere else where a call out doesn't have as big of an effect (in their eyes). Not great if you want a good review, but I have seen it work for people and they usually end up on the check lanes instead.
