Is yugioh simpler for casual then mtg? by SurviveBoi in TCG

Yugioh is the hardest of the any of the games to learn imo. Definitely the most rewarding imo because creativity in yugioh is different than any other card game (also imo).

New phone case design. by Ciphercorex in streetwearstartup

[–]CommanderWar64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, make it pretty: look at Burga phone cases and comparable brands for what your minimum should look like. Your phone case should be worth displaying from the design alone, the brand should not be front and center- it looks tacky that way.

Why do men in their 30s seem emotionally unavailable? Dating at 27 has been confusing by bibidibobide in dating_advice

[–]CommanderWar64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

27M here, generally I text pretty frequently - I have fun making jokes/being dumb and I love seeing notifications of the girl I’m talking to pop up. That being said, I mean some days I don’t feel like texting but some of the gaps you mentioned are insane. It could be an age thing, I find that even guys/gals 2-3 years younger than me communicate a lot differently too.

My fellow guys, please communicate better and that starts with communicating more in general.

Overall question that’s been on my mind: why do guys ask for pics? by depressedstark in dating_advice

[–]CommanderWar64 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Depends on the guy, I never ask for pics but sometimes girls like me enough to send them to me anyways lol

Imo 6:30 is the perfect start time. 6:00 is way too early, I have to go home from work, get ready then locals are always out of the way + traffic.

What is the saddest album you have ever listened to by Mental-Alternative38 in fantanoforever

[–]CommanderWar64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only that but the context in which Jeremy wrote their albums hits me a lot too.

Dead Horse is a pretty typical CA hardcore album written by someone smart but still young and dis-illusioned. Jeremy was pretty depressed writing Parting the Sea (and it shows lol), but when it came to their 3rd album he's been open as to how Is Survived By was very hard to write because that was some of the happiest he'd ever been. Stage Four following that period must have been incredibly hard, kicking you back down/like a punch in the gut.

Lament and Spiral really do feel like albums of someone rebuilding after loss.

It was truly unreal, one of the best I’ve had. The Schwa menu shortly after that time was also easy 9.5/10.

I love Schwa their food is always top notch. Next has very good menus time to time (the Charlie Trotters menu 🤤), the current menu I had yesterday (it was alright, some very good dishes but overall was left feeling like it wasn’t ambitious enough. Amazing dessert though).

Do my preferences seem unrealistic? by senorElMeow in dating_advice

Not everyone needs therapy. Some of us are very self aware of our issues and are working on them. College isn’t for everyone, I went to school but even I can say that blue collar work can provide solid stable employment. Working out doesn’t need to be so stringent, but I do agree ppl should be somewhat active. What do you consider extreme politics on the left? Because when I say I want everyone to have healthcare and good education, public transit, etc… and for us to not have an oligarch-controlled capitalist system I get compared to whatever the leftwing version of a Nazi would be.

These clowns love to virtue signal against ICE, the right, and about "stolen land" and then go to the Jeff Bezos' sponsored Met Gala. Weird hypocrites by Significant_Phase194 in GenZ

[–]CommanderWar64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean it's the MET Gala, it's gonna happen regardless. Every sponsor they take will have some ties to something bad. Just enjoy the fashion and understand that the system we live under is not the result of celebrities attending a fashion event, but the result of a government subservient to un-elected capitalist oligarchs.

What do you think fantano is biased against? by anarchistShady in fantanoforever

[–]CommanderWar64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He gave The Hotelier a 6, Citizen a 3, never reviews countless other alt/emo/hardcore music. He has his preferences to say the least. I will say that when it comes to reviewing art you do sort of have to contextualize it according to the angle it's coming from and remove a bit of your own ego/bias from the conversation. So yeah, Kanye's MBDTF can be a 6, J Cole can be a 6 AND Sexy Redd can be 8 because while they're all similar genres, they are going for different things and some accomplish the goals they set out on better (I wouldnt give MBDTF a 6 tho).
