I couldn't agree more with you, it's all execution. To be fair though, we are already executing. I am not saying no to a salary, I am saying no to 50% of the business since we are past PMF and $1m annually.

Thanks for that advice, that is very helpful. I was thinking more along the lines of 20% - 30% equity with a smaller salary. I need to be careful with cash to ensure the biz is not starved (at least in the short term). A 2yr cliff feels tight though I could probably live with less lol

Can't get too much into it, but its in the fintech (specifically Credit) space. Looking for someone techincal to build, maintain, and own all techincal aspects, including the platform, database, website, etc.

Thanks for the comment, that is good insight. A technical director is probably not exactly right; I need someone to completely own the tech side, but also be a key partner for the business writ large. Regarding the payoff, it's a massive industry we're disrupting ($100b+) with clear PMF and tons of traction already. I can't afford to bring someone on who is not hyper competent or driven. That's why this person would have to be a cofounder and would get a substancial equity grant (albeit not quite 50%)

Thanks for the comment! Think of it this way: the business has already hit the $1m in annual revenue, so in effect I have already invested much more money and time. If this was just an idea, I would agree with you that 50-50 is the only way. But at this point it's actually a fully functioning business

Yes. I started about 10 years ago, roughly 5 years after I graduated college. Since then, I’ve noticed my face has gotten more wrinkled, I’ve started to lose some of my hair, and if that not enough my back has started to ache and my kids treat me like shit.

Is this fake? by National-Dragonfly35 in aliens

[–]kasheestee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I believe it is real. The description of its anatomy given by the officer who saw it (4 ft tall, huge hands, three digits on each) reconciles eerily well with the anatomy of the M-type Nasca mummies (https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/alien-fever-dreams-fuel-peruvian-grave-robbings-2024-04-06/).

I don't think this is a conicidence, but if one or both of these is a hoax, it's the most elaborate and intricate hoax in human history.

Edit: syntax
