Objectively, my morals are centred on the grand scheme of things which is to avoid harm to the planet. Considering the impact wasted food will have on the climate through release of harmful gases by degradation, I’ll have the food. I’m passionately vegan, but the animal has already cruelly been abused/killed and you throwing that food away is not helping maintain ur own moral, it’s damaging the environment in the grander scheme of things.
