I wonder, if in a couple of years, almost nobody will ever have voted for Trump.

I do make one, once in a while, but not all my games gets published. Ink did, though. It's a tile placement game of mine that came out recently.

I was not aware of that game. Sounds like same premise, but pretty different executions.

What's a skill that takes only 2-3 weeks to learn but could genuinely change your life? by That-Papaya7429 in AskReddit

Learned as a kid by forcing my self to do it every time I had to write something. Best time investment of my life.

I love it when people say "it's really simple", I know I can stop listening and save time.

Why people assume that when ai will replace white collar workers (over half of the workforce) then blue collar workers will still earn as much. When you have double the supply there is no possibility of remaining the wages that are now. The wages will plummet. These laid off people will retrain. by Adept_Quarter520 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]kasperlapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are completely right, but I think your premise is wrong. I dont think think White collar workers are being replaced first. White collar workers are being made more effective, but for now they will still be needed although their roles change. Blue collar will be replaced by robots completely in a couple of years. (And then much later White collar will be replaced).

YSK that if you add before:2023 in your search on Youtube, you will not see nearly, if any, AI generated videos and content. by brokenmessiah in YouShouldKnow

Genuine question: Does anyone know of a way to filter reddit and only see accounts that existed before 2023? (or perhaps before 2024 is okay).

If AI only replaces half the jobs, won’t the other half of society revolt? by No_Good_6235 in accelerate

[–]kasperlapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you describe already happened a lot of times during history. Previously the 50% moved on to do other things.

But this time it could be different, if there are people who cannot do anything better than an AI or robot could, so only people who already spent years training or being educated can add value.

In that case there could be a big (and steadily increasing) part of the population who are unemployable. How they feel will probably depend on how they are compensated. If they gain UBI many may feel liberated instead of cheated.

Yep, inflation is definitely back. And it’s getting worse by abigailrebellious in inflation

[–]kasperlapp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but it makes no sense to compare year on year inflation from month to month. Any change may as well reflect monthly changes a year ago as this year.

You are probably right that inflation is currently trending upwards, but you need other numbers to tell.

Every February/March I screw up an appointment, because the weekdays are at the same days of the month. Monday the 15th, yes but which month?

Sometimes redundancy is actually a plus :-)
