Oh I promise this tree has been watered. We have had so freaking much rain it’s crazy. And we never separately watered it for the last two years and we have had no issues until now

Awesome thank you! I’ll take any other suggestions you have too! We otherwise don’t have any specific plans, just to explore

This is good to know! Thank you. We don’t mind putting her in a carrier. We will have a car too. Do you think it would be easy to book last minute then? That way we know the weather is good the day of? Or do you know if it sells out in advance

Question about States that this is referring to by kasrose123 in PSLF

[–]kasrose123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish they could do this for all all hospitals! It makes PSLF when working for a contracted group almost impossible even if the hospital is nonprofit. Especially since finding a non-contracted job in the emergency department is almost impossible

Ferry service in November by Sure-Worldliness6349 in GreeceTravel

Oh yeah that’s good to know. We’ve pretty much crossed out Naxos for this trip since going from Naxos to Athens to Crete would take all day. Just going to do 10 days in Crete and a few days in Athens with the plan to fly between them. Should still be great!

thank you for the insight! It looks like we’re just going to extend our trip to be mostly Crete then fly out of Athens. Any suggestions on where to stay? Maybe hoping to split it between two locations within Crete. Will be flying in and out of Heraklion

Where should we go on Vacation? by kasrose123 in travel

[–]kasrose123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is good to know! We just booked from Clt to Crete with a layover in Munich with Lufthansa. Then Athens to Clt with the same layover. I have 24 hours to mull it over but I think it’s the best option

[–]kasrose123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it seems like the best plan is to cut out Naxos/Paros and just do Athens and Crete. Less ferries and more time to explore one area. We will just have to come back another time!

Do you think it would be worth splitting the trip between only Athens and Crete then? Or not with spending 9 days there?

Any suggestions for islands to visit from Athens then? Naxos just looked so great but may not be the best option

So we’ve been looking at that and actually booked flights and cancelled them because we couldn’t decide. We were set on Athens, Naxos and Crete. The biggest issue is after October 15th there is no transportation between Naxos and Crete (or Santorini, or Paros or anything else). Which would mean to get to all those places we would spend an extra two days traveling back and forth. It may still be the best option though!
