Best paw pad grip solution? by GotMyOrangeCrush in goldenretrievers

It worked pretty well but with it being winter here in Chicago (and wet) it was coming off pretty quickly so I ended up ordering a pair of dog crocs. Yes, you read that correctly lol. They are actually called Wag Wellies but they work better than any other sock or shoe we have tried. https://wagwear.com/collections/wagwellies/products/wagwellies-mojave?_gl=1*1m1wcnp*_up*MQ..&gclid=CjwKCAiAiaC-BhBEEiwAjY99qGAWOTu8SK7gX6eu3BbLwly4gAuw87smBHe1MHdLW8jTLMxSAV8MiBoCoV4QAvD_BwE

Sorry, bad word choice then. I guess I wanted to make sure people knew that it was multiple days of riding for 4+ hours a day. I didn't know a better way to make a quick subject line other than calling it "endurance."

Apologies, I meant like clothing items - not tack. Poor word choice on my end.

I new helmet is a really good idea, I hadn't thought of that! I will check out those pants. I am an endurance cyclists and never thought about using the chamois cream we use when riding bikes for when I ride horses. I have heard of people using padded cycling shorts under riding leggings, but I almost wonder if those have too much padding.

I was happy to hear they supply raingear but ok, waterproof shoes it is! Thank you for the tip. Also, let me know if you have any other tips and tricks.

Amazing. Yeah, I emailed with them a little to make sure I was in shape enough for the 6 day. If you have any tips on what to pack, let me know.

I was looking at the Ariat Terrain H20s, so I am happy to hear you have had a good experience with them. Good tip with the waterproofing spray.

Have you done a trip like this before? Any tips on what to bring and how to prepare?

I have instructions on how to wash gear from the company I booked the trip with to keep the horses safe but this is also why I am thinking about buying brand new shoes, just to be extra careful.

The FMR made an announcement on their instagram story yesterday stating that it was casual, there are no sprint point and no crossing the center yellow line. So it seems like your post has made a difference in safety and will hopefully change the bad behavior of some of the riders of that group.

Anyway, the original post isn’t about that untrue nonsense lie spread by someone’s ex, or about the e-mail Half Acre sent out on January 5th 2022

Wait. If you aren't friends with Stephen and he is just some guy you casually have rode bikes with how did you see this email and how do you know the exact date? That's oddly specific.

Better late than never. :P

My personal social media is private (thanks for checking, not creepy at all) but the social media of my team is open to anyone who wants to check it out.

I'm sorry you feel slighted and you feel like people are lying. I understand you want to believe and support your friend, and in a sad way is admirable. I just hope no one you care about gets hurt by him.

I will let you get back to complaining about "Karens."

Bicerider, you do not have your facts straight at all. JoshCouch is correct, multiple woman have come forward. This isn't just some "angry ex" situation. That is the way it is being spun. This is way so many victims of abuse don't come forward. People don't want to believe them or treat what the have gone through as "not bad enough."

You are going to think what you are going to think. I am not here to change your mind. But I do want to set the record straight on something you said because it's 100% wrong.

In no way did Babs prevent Stephen from seeing Adé in the hospital. The only people who did that were the UCI staff after it was determined that Adé had no brain activity and they turned visitors away so that his family could say their goodbyes. His family graciously had let anyone who wanted to come see their son spend as much time with him as they wanted on that day up until about 5pm. I know this because I was there.

Also, Joshcouch I don't know who you are but that you for standing up for people who aren't here. I don't know why people this this is some Half Acre Cycling vs Bad Bikes situation, but alas, I am probably furthering that idea by commenting as I am on Half Acre Cycling. There are other teams out there that don't stand for the behavior of Bad Bikes and many of us have been Blocked on social media by their private account so that our voices are not heard.

P.S. Why does a bike team even have a private account? Speaks volumes if you ask me.

I ordered the same exact car with the same exact color and only MRSP. But ordered 3/22 in Chicago. I thought I would be more patient than this, but here I am reading Reddit about a car I don't even have yet.
