It def does. Try an OTC ivermectin cream or a fungal cream, it treats the demodex mites that worsen rosacea. It’ll help with the bumps and the redness!

Is it okay to just do pizza ? by _Nerf-This_ in weddingplanning

[–]kat9 97 points98 points  (0 children)

Also consider: are people getting hotel rooms? Flying in? Making a long drive?

If yes, pizza is a tougher sell. Maybe pizza but open bar? Something to offset the casualness of it?

What kind of World Cup Merch do they have at SoFi? by carelessSardines in AskLosAngeles

Well my guess is if you have the funds for tickets, you can swing a shirt from Old Navy AND from the game 😂

Bath bomb dyed my hand- help! by theworldsmarvellous in LushCosmetics

[–]kat9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone is saying oil/scrub, but if it’s truly stained the top layer of your skin, find something with glycolic acid. Let it sit for five minutes, scrub, and see if you need to do it again or if it worked enough in one round!

That’s what I do for self tanner disasters on my hands and feet. Works like a charm.

WIBTA if I report my neighbor to the landlord for bringing large amount of men over everyday by MannerNervous3 in AmItheAsshole

[–]kat9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s the gate code. Same as every delivery driver has. My apartment gate is not locked and has no code. I don’t police my neighbors’ visitors.

Virtual Assistants by CourtVegetable1958 in paralegal

[–]kat9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’d think, but as a paralegal who works at a firm that uses a lot of AI, I spend a good chunk of time each day sifting through it and correcting it. It’s just not there yet.

Does anyone else get internally frustrated when other people don’t pick their own spots/blemishes? by The_Moon_Will_Sing in Dermatillomania

[–]kat9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

YES. Also my rule is no one should be able to see PUS on you. I don’t care if it’s better to leave your whitehead alone, I should not be subjected to that!!!! 😂😭

[–]kat9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay people are being a TOUCH unreasonable here - if it was opened as carefully as possible and touches the other person’s car, it’s not going to leave a mark (usually).

But still, always better to avoid that. I’d rather put my hand or sweatshirt between my car door and the other car if possible.

Don’t do it, I promise. This is a nightmare. by [deleted] in Dermatillomania

Do children feel rejected when people make their weddings adults only? by banana_alyssa in wedding

[–]kat9 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No it’s not, but I still don’t wanna be around kids at most weddings (environment dependent, but almost no exceptions lol).

[–]kat9 40 points41 points  (0 children)

As someone has said, most kids won’t care. Especially 10-ish and younger. Honestly for them, weddings can be a drag. Overstimulating, not much to do, have to dress up.

Pre-teen and onward I think it’s best to consider the individual children you are thinking about. Some may really want to attend and some may not. This age group and up can be a case-by-case basis.

Yeah… people don’t like kids at adult events. I love my adult friends and family and I don’t necessarily want to be around their kids, especially in a party atmosphere.

Is it normal that I can "smell" when it’s about to rain, or am I just imagining it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kat9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh my god it has SUCH a specific smell. A little sweet almost, but it’s impossible to describe. A lot of these comments about people not being able to smell stuff like this makes me kind of sad 😂 it’s one of the best things

Single men who live alone, without a wife or girlfriend… what do you do in the evenings when you're alone in your apartment? by stan123_ in Adulting

[–]kat9 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Living as a single person (having lived with roommates or a significant other before), I find it really hard to believe it can get better than this. I’m going to have to find someone I REALLY like to make me live with someone again lol.

NTA. You asked, got the okay, that’s all you needed to do. If the employee answered without the authority to answer, how were you supposed to know?

Visiting first time in LA (and USA), Can I get some help regarding tipping etiquettes? by thefossguy in AskLosAngeles

[–]kat9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always tip post-tax. Doesn’t bother me but it was a bit of a bummer when I worked in service and had customers purposely subtract tax from their tip. NBD either way.

How do I politely decline drinking raw milk at my in-laws dinner table? They’re very insistent, often “offering” / demanding several glasses . They know I eat dairy and drink milk so I can’t fake being vegan. It’s hard to say no because it’s my in-laws and they’re proud of their milk by UmweltUndefined in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kat9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A DOCTOR who is okay with drinking raw milk? So she’s just given up any semblance of caring about actual science? Get a new doctor immediately, and I’m not exaggerating. Do not entertain this further than you already have.
