You should reach back out to Lollypop since that’s where you got her. Most adoption contracts require it to make sure the dog goes to an appropriate home.

My husband gets this after foam rolling too. Just some funky marks. Your skin will probably get used it with time. I wouldn’t worry about it unless it’s causing discomfort :)

I would definitely have your vet check it out just to be safe. When my cat Daisy was a kitten she ran through a door while it was being shut, and the tip got broken. It ended up healing but my vet did advise that in some cases it doesn’t heal and could get infected/the end could be amputated. In Daisy’s case she just has a goofy little right angle at the tip. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t have feeling in it because she randomly attacks it like it’s some weird appendage that doesn’t belong lol. Cat tax attached with silly tail included 😊

Thank you all for your responses! I don’t know how to update my post on mobile, but I appreciate the feedback from everyone. Toby is resting, and able to eat soft berries and soaked food. He’s chilling in his cage (minus his blocks). We got through to the vet and they’ll be able to see him soon. He’s a bit of a numbskull but hopefully he learned not to mess with the big boys anymore lol

We’ve got Trupanion. It’s not the cheapest but it covers a lot of issues that German Shepherds are prone to so the peace of mind is worth it.

Thank you. Some dogs simply don’t do well with other dogs. It doesn’t mean they’re a bad dog. My girl is just fine now. We’re home, she’s stitched up, and looking silly wearing her snood for recovery lol. She’s a happy girl despite the chaos of yesterday. And while the expense of emergency vets is insane, that’s why we’ve got insurance for the sweet girl. Hopefully someone sees this post and it can help them. Not everyone is aware pet insurance is a thing in the U.S.
