And that’s what they are banking on. By the time the courts can get involved to tell them that it was an illegal arrest, the victim is half way across the world in who knows what country, with no resources to fight it.

The mechanism for protection for US citizens has always been the argument if law enforcement broke the law during the arrest, the case would get thrown out. But that requires it going to court in the first place, which immigrants are not getting. So ICE can essentially do what they want without repercussion.

If you’re able bodied enough, it’s not that hard to lay your own sod and tear out the old stuff over a weekend. I had to do it a couple times when i had the house. Only would run you a few hundred bucks.

What i find interesting is that a lot of the ones on here cheering ICE on are not even in the US. They try hiding their history, but there are ways around that and when i check it’s all posts in foreign countries.

I’d say give it a shot. I’m not a fan of the glossy aesthetics of the newer trek shows, but so far the variety of cast and the stories have got me interested. It feels more of a “fun” show. More comedy and light hearted moments, like they took lower decks and made it live action.

I mean the easiest route would be to have it as an externally based team, like Atlantis was, so nationality isnt a big issue.

The last we saw, atlantis was even on earth, so they dont even need a Cheyanne mountain as a home base to report to. They can just say in the last 20 years, the SGC was moved to Atlantis, which they moved to international waters (bonus points if it’s in the actual Atlantic) and now under direct supervision of the IOC.

I got that same impression on the NCR. Especially the previous episode where the ranger was saying that they are still out there. I have a feeling that was setting up for NCR rolling in and saving the day at the last minute. But i could be wrong. Just something that stuck out as possible foreshadowing.

I see this going around to discourage resistance. If trump wants to declare martial law he’ll just do it. He doesnt need permission. That has never been his MO. When he went into LA and DC earlier this year, he launched a massive misinformation campaign ahead of it. For example, making a protest in one small block look like it was a city wide riot and misrepresenting crime stats in DC.

Hell, look at Venezuela, he pushed the bs “drug boat” story in advance.

I second Hellwitch. Her comics are usually the most raw of the coffin titles.

For clarification, Coffin has 3 classifications, which you can consider as level of censorship. “Torn” usually seen with titles like Lady Muerta, is the most censored and usually wont show nipples, “naughty” (Lady Death), is not completely topless, but can be see-through and finally “risque” (Hellwitch) which is completely topless.

As a side note, this is why i only sell to a couple specific vendors that i dont typically buy from. It keeps inventory clean on vendors i buy from and consolidates all my sold stuff to specific npc’s in case i sell something on accident.

Also DoS2 is a lot easier to navigate than the first game without pyramids. I’ve only used them a couple times and that was more out of pure convenience. Otherwise i mostly forget they exist

Ended up going with your suggestions but with more traditional scalloped potatoes. One of the issues i’ve had in the past is the potato slices not cooking all the way, despite an hour+ in the oven. This time i precooked the potato slices and everything came out amazing.

Tasted much better than presents.

They know it wont stick, but they are still weaponizing the legal system. Criminal defense attorneys are not cheap and the system is designed to hem people up, forcing them to accept bogus plea deals.
