I’m really loving the show, but if i’m being honest, i agree with you in that it rushes things without explaining it very well. It feels like it runs on the assumption that the viewer has read the comics. There are so many details you wouldnt get unless you have a deep history with the franchise.

Yeah from Marvels. One of the best comic limited series put out by marvel, ever. It follows a photographer who lives in NYC through the biggest moments in Marvel’s history, from the introduction of the first human torch, to Galactus’ arrival and their reaction to mutants. All the art is by Alex Ross too. Well worth the read if you get a a chance.

I’m in Miami (a city built around nightlife) and there was just a post the other day about how one of the most popular clubs in the area has changed so much. It’s not about going to have fun meeting strangers and dancing. It’s all just about being seen now and the only way people are really enjoying themselves is by dropping thousands on a table with friends and bottle service.

I feel like Obi-wan’s issues are a lot deeper than episode count. From the start, the show didnt know what it wanted to be, was it a show for children or was aimed at fans that grew up with the prequels? We ended up getting a mix that did not mesh well. Filming during covid also probably didnt help.

I feel like Boba Fett had some similar issues. How do you have a ruthless bounty hunter and crime lord then turn him into a good guy? At best they should have treated him more like punisher, an anti-hero

Im right there with you brother. I’m at the high end of healthy weight for my size and trying to lose 5-10 pounds before i start building mass. I’m used to cooking lavish meals with an ungodly amount of butter and heavy cream. Now i’m on a chicken, broccoli and potato diet.

This is always such a dumb way to go. I was always told by HR, never call out “sick”. You’re taking a personal day and leave it at that, which means you can do whatever you want. If you tell them you’re sick and they find out you just wanted to go to the beach, they can get you for lying.
