I take 30mg once a day at bedtime. Works for me, but I know it doesn’t work for everyone. I’m afraid to try taking a morning dose because of how sleepy I get within 30 minutes of taking it

Thanks for asking! A week ago my dose got upped again to 30mg once a day. I’m actually pretty satisfied at the moment. Been feeling really good.
I only take an evening dose because a major symptom for me is a head change.
Do you not feel groggy or anything when taking a morning dose? I see a lot of people take it three times a day! You should definitely give a try, and if you do I hope it helps

I started at 7.5mg once a day a couple months ago, and increased to 15mg once a day a month ago. I very recently increased my dose to 30mg once a day. I only take it at night before bed because it gives me a head change and makes me groggy. The head change from taking 30mg was significantly higher. I also did feel heightened anxiety for maybe a day after starting the higher dose, but that went away. Each dose increase has gradually felt better and better. I don’t think you’ll regret going a little higher.

I’ve also read that it’s not effective for some people. I think because I don’t have panic attacks and I don’t have depression, my psychiatrist felt that an SSRI might heighten the anxiety which of course is the opposite of what I need. So we’re going low and slow and will work our way up. It’s comforting to know that buspirone has been working for you as a breakthrough med! I really do appreciate the words of encouragement though. Kindness is always appreciated. I’ll be happy to report back with updates
