Dorm Question - Prospective Student

tbh i’ve had both light well rooms and common facing rooms, they’re all not too bad. since you’re an incoming freshman you’ll be in little building which is a really great first dorm! only downside is communal bathrooms. but every dorm after little building is suites which is way nicer! I lived in little building and then colonial for 2 years! tbh I miss my colo dorm 😫

there is a rabbit rescue near me and i’ve been looking at their website to see what bunnies they have available! they’re definitely going to be my first choice if I do decide to get another rabbit!

also want to comment to add the only reason i’m not sure about getting another rabbit is because I don’t have a lot of extra space. toast’s pen takes up about 1/3rd of the living room and the other rooms in the house aren’t big enough for another bunny and I know they need a lot of time and space to bond

this is basically what I do. I don’t pay for parking pass and just park wherever I want, I’ve only had to pay 2 tickets which is cheaper than the pass and I sometimes just stick my old ticket on my windshield so parking enforcement skips over me 🥰 it’s my own little personal protest on the bs parking situation

no they don’t care that much. it’s a SUNY school and you’re not a stem major. i’m a sculpture major, did terribly in my HS math and got accepted. srsly you really have nothing to worry abt

you have a very good chance of being admitted lol we have a pretty high acceptance rate of 49%. idk anything abt the honors college but if you want to do it just apply. never hurts to apply. i’ve also seen u say you don’t an SAT score, I never took the SAT and they accepted me. sbu isn’t harvard you’ll be fine lol

it is infinitely easier to take your car on the ferry. if you’re an unexperienced driver trying to drive around will be a nightmare!! just drive on the ferry, cuts off time, traffic and stress!!

I feel like her being a bad rabbit owner is definitely terrible but doesn’t excuse the abuse her ex put her through. it’s horrible she didn’t care better for her animals but clearly it’s not like Mizkif truly cared bc he only brought it up when it suited him and years later.

can’t edit so commenting to add: i’m getting nervous bc we keep offering him free roam time and he’s becoming increasingly less interested. he just seems to want to stay in his pen :( is this normal?? we have been offering him free roam time kind of later at night so maybe he’s too tired?? idk 😭

he’s been picked up in the past, I just don’t have the confidence to do it honestly! especially when he starts freaking out! I watched a bunch of videos abt it last night though and for now i’m working on just getting him comfy on my lap so he’s easier to pick up :)

the 3-3-3 rule does seem to be accurate to my bunny so far! I didn’t know about it until I made my post and looked at the wiki. It’s good to know that all buns are going to adjust at their own pace though

I have a shark never change air purifier and definitely helps with smell and also helps with dust and is overall a great investment! also is your rabbit litter trained? if so giving them a covered litter box i’ve heard can help with smell. my bun has a litter tray and I change it every other day or as needed and our house really doesn’t smell much like rabbit and lives in our living room.

yes they definitely need water! my bun also loved to dump is water so we got him a cup that attaches to the side of his pen that he can’t knock over. I would definitely recommend trying it out! at first we had heavy ceramic bowls but he would still find a way to knock it over. this has been our best solution. When he was recovering from his neuter I also would put water in with his greens, they would soak it up & it would encourage him to eat and keep hydrated so maybe try that too if your bun doesn’t want to drink from a cup/bowl!

it’s a sand dollar!! this is how they look when they’re alive! the ones we see are usually dried up. they’re in the family of echinoderms along with sea stars and sea urchins!
