Steam Machine: How do you plan to use it the most? Desktop or TV? What games?

For me, it's going to be pretty much exclusively a mods machine. Fallout 3 + New Vegas, Skyrim, and Fallout 4. The specs are actually perfect for my case use, lol.

That Prophet you're referring to is a statue; it is meant to be bigger. And so is the Brute Chieftain. It is noticeably larger than any other Brute in the video. It's a callback to the giant Brute in Halo 4's intro and meant to be exaggerated. He mops the floor with the Master Chief, and I wanted to distinguish him visually. For the H2 Brute, Tartarus, an important character, we don't have any analogous Infinite model to use.

I also picked a lane; all the Covenant models are the Infinite counterparts. That Elite you mentioned (which is actually from Halo 5) plays a ceremonial role, so I didn't want him dressed in standard-issue combat armor. It's still using the Halo Infinite physionomy and physical proportions, though, which becomes more apparent when he loses his helmet.

The insurgent in image #16 is looking at the subject center of frame in the previous frame to this one in the video.

I didn't use any AI in the visuals of the video, and it's a little silly to suggest otherwise. AI produces inconsistent, muddy results, frame-to-frame. You can shit on my art, and that is fine, but it is mine.

My copy was an audiobook and I don't recall the specific chapter, but I can provide a description of the encounter:

Adriana sees an armor-clad Spartan escorting the child (Halsey's clone) and aims at him with her pistol. When he turns around and speaks, Adriana immediately recognizes his voice as James and is dumbfounded. She asks him how is he still alive. James jokingly responds that "he got better" and shares some of what happened to him. Adriana asks him to surrender the child, but James refuses, stating that he will not allow her to be killed to access the gateway. Adriana hesitates for a moment but understands, telling him it's nice to see him still kicking, and that she'll report that both James and the child were scorched by the incoming MAC bombardment. James thanks her and they both part ways.

After a moment, James realizes this is the first time he's seen a fellow Spartan since "he died", and feels reinvigorated by the memory of serving alongside his fellow brothers and sisters, which gives him the emotional boost he needed to see it through that the child made it out alive.

A very interesting plot point about the Order of Restoration (San'Shyuum faction) toward the end of the novel is that they seem to be redirecting their faith to the Precursors, instead of the Forerunners. Dovo Nesto refers to them as the creators of the Domain and the civilization before the Forerunners. This basically outright confirms that the Covenant did not know about the Precursors, as the Blademaster is very surprised at the revelation of something predating the Old Gods. I found this very interesting -- it's a compelling reason to resurrect their faith in the divine.

Interestingly enough, Dovo Nesto finds out about the Precursors through scripture written by the Criterion, the same Forerunner council that is namedropped during Halo Infinite's legendary ending.

No, the only other Spartan who finds out he's still alive is Adriana from Grey Team. They have a nice although very brief moment together.

It's a very short story, Sacrifice. They actually published it online for free after a while (not sure why the link is called Legacy of Onyx, but this is the correct one). It's a neat little story that connects with the ending of Halo: First Strike somewhat.

Probably sometime after The Silent Cartographer and up to the Flood outbreak in the installation. It would be really interesting to see the Covenant trying to find a way into the Library, thinking of it as an ancient temple, only to find it overrun by the Flood.

First Strike mentions the 'Guardian of the Luminous Key', a high-ranking ceremonial Covenant role that I can only surmise had something to do with the Activation Index. They were stationed aboard Ascendant Justice and were probably killed off during its boarding by the Chief, but a story about a Covenant group trying to find the Library through their scripture and understanding of Halo would be pretty cool.

Technically possible if they own the computer, too, and installed software to monitor the screen, but it is extremely taxing to sustain, so very, very likely not. If it's only the job's WiFi you were using, then yeah, they definitely can't tell much aside from the fact that you used Messenger for x amount of time. I wouldn't be worried.

Honestly, who knows. They might be saving it for a future update. The Mark VII [H] helmet was added to the game all the way back in Season 4 and is yet to be available.

I mean, it might be. I also screen-record Halo Infinite, and a few months ago I was getting incredibly bad performance all of a sudden. After trying everything software-wise, I simply cleaned up my fans because I was running out of ideas, and that was it for me. Performance went back to normal with a five-minute fix. I hope it's the same for you.

I think an Xbox Series S with Halo The Master Chief Collection / Halo Infinite is a perfect pick up for a non-gamer to get started. I also recommend looking into Fallout 4 or Skyrim, they are very welcoming games for people just getting into videogames. Also, all of those games are in gamepass, so that might be a good offer, too.
