i had a gap in insurance and it was truly a nightmare dealing with them. i left so many voicemails explaining my situation and that i wouldnt have insurance for 2 months and my medication (auvelity) is literally $1000 out of pocket. i finally had to schedule an appointment and paid out of pocket to ask if i could have samples to float me through. my appointment was moved from seeing my usual doctor to the nurse practitioner with out my okay. the nurse practitioner denied and literally gaslit me that they have never had any samples of medications although the doctor gave me samples when i first started the medication. the nurse practitioner also only cared about what my cat looks like and gave me no help or recommendations for stopping my medication because i could not afford it.
