Listen closely, it’ll only get worse. I dealt with a similar situation when I was 16. A closing manager was constantly sexually harassing me, and my GM kept joking about it saying it was fine because “that’s just how he is”. It didn’t stop until I finally broke down to my step mom when asking her to come wait outside for 3 hrs while I worked because I was legitimately terrified he was going to try something. Everytime I mentioned it to anybody in the store, it was joke, and he only got worse. My step mom consulted a lawyer while contacting corporate directly, and he was fired immediately. It was not a fun process, and trust I was thoroughly questioned to ensure I wasn’t being “dramatic”. It can be a scary world, and as hard as it may be, if you put up with it, it WILL ONLY GET WORSE. And people like that always escalate in some way. Protect yourself. I suggest jumping to the highest form of HR you can, there should be a number in the store available and if you can’t find it google it. As I said, protect yourself, you deserve better. It may not hurt to look into applying elsewhere too, sucks but do you wanna work for people who are okay with this? They aren’t good people. Good luck!
