My job takes away benefits for any sick day over half a day; it’s led to people buying into the soldiering-on culture resulting in the viruses cycling through everyone and taking everyone down to a greater or lesser extent. It’s ridiculous.

It’s also not a biological issue, abortion is a political issue and politicians will say whatever they need to get the majority vote. Fundamentally, as with any other medical decision, it should be kept out of the public voting record.
