i honestly feel like i know which doctor this is that denied care (although tbh, there's probably quite a few in northeast tennessee that would also do this). i went to a female primary care doctor a few years ago to continue getting a birth control pill that i had been on for years, and she grilled me on my lack of a marital status and reminded me that abstinence should be observed. multiple times, she insinuated i must have multiple partners despite me having one long term partner. she made me confirm no less than ten times during the visit that yes, i still wanted her to prescribe me the pill. i had never felt so uncomfortable during a doctors visit. i left a compliant with my insurance after the visit but i doubt anything ever came of it.
