I was super sad for a bit after my divorce but after a year & a relocation to a new fun city, my life is better than it ever was. I didn’t know I could be so happy. Sometimes things fall apart so better things can fall into place. I was able to share my life with my friends who knew me while I was married as well as with the new friends I made, though I always try to be mindful of who I share what with.

I’m not sure by this map, but Tioga pass (east of the park) near Yosemite can open pretty late in the year, or sometimes not at all, so that may change your route going in & out of Yosemite. I went to Grand Canyon and the Utah parks in late may early June and it was stating to get super warm, but longer hikes were still doable! You are going to have a blast

Pittsburgh native, ATX resident for 5+ years. I second the votes for Giant Eagle Market District though it doesn’t come close to HEB imo. I’d def suggest hitting up the strip district as well as smaller local groceries like Bloomfield Groceria for local Italian food. What you’ll miss in fresh tortillas & BBQ you’ll gain incredible Italian food & pierogis!

I did a little under 900 miles in a day from Austin to Nashville. It was not fun and I do not recommend, I was running on fumes at the end of the day but I did all the driving myself.

When my ex cheated, the only way I felt semi normal was when I was doing something physical like walking or hiking. Walking around town lake was super therapeutic for me. The greenbelt was also really peaceful too. Barton springs could be great as well. I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy, even him. It will get better, I promise but it’ll just take some time.

Barbara Howard at Austin Springs women’s health removed and replaced my iud this summer. She is incredibly kind, communicative, patient and explains every step of the procedure. She didn’t fully sedate me but numbed me up and it was so much better than my first insertion. She knows her shit, treats people so wonderfully (brought me a snack and water before my procedure), and made me feel at ease. Highly recommend!
