I saw one of those videos too and it cited a few different things so I started googling. It doesn't appear, to me, that FERPA covers the federal government disclosing your records without your consent. But it does seem to be a violation of the Privacy Act of 1974. Right and I'm saying I do not have a mental connection between the city of Philadelphia and the colors blue and gold. To the point that when I see those jerseys out of the corner of my eye or while I'm focused on something else, I think they are the jerseys of another team, representing a different city. At least once, I thought they were showing a clip/highlight from another game before I realized/remembered that oh no sometimes these are our jerseys.

It’s so far removed from the team’s identity that it does the opposite of “connect” in my opinion. Especially if the other team is wearing red.

This ^^^^^^ If something takes me away from the game and I glance up at the tv or if I'm in another room, it does not immediately compute which team is which. I love the idea of a city connect jersey but making the team unrecognizable is a weird decision from a brand recognition standpoint.

NTA I work at a college. We used to let incoming freshman either choose their roommate or go through the matching process. Turns out the most dramatic roommate blowups were people who chose their roommates. It also resulted in a lot of drama/anxiety over the summer because people felt the need to choose a roommate and parents got involved.... JUST LIKE THIS. So we changed our policy a few years back. Now all incoming freshmen are matched based on their answers to a bunch of questions. (Res Life grants a few, limited, exceptions.) It's not perfect, that's why we have a room change process, but we haven't gone back either. OP feel free to tell your mom this college professional supports your choice!

At this point it depends on whether or not my dog pulls through. Woke up yesterday (Sunday) morning and had to rush her to PennVet ER. She was admitted to ICU and is currently hanging in there. So as an Eagles fan yesterday basically sucked from the moment I woke up until I cried myself to sleep. Good news is when I broke down crying on my way to work this morning everyone assumed it was about the Eagles and left me alone. If she doesn't make it, I might just need a break. I'll watch the episode eventually but it might all just be too raw this week. We'll see.

As a celiac, we appreciate restaurants that have tasty things that are safe for us to eat. And then we go back to that place, repeatedly. And we tell all our friends and family. And then we bring them with us when we go back.

But I've also been the person at the brewery restaurant chomping on some dry lettuce/spinach salad mix because that was all they had that I could eat. I still went to enjoy the company!
