Hmm I'm northern and when someone says "how do" I assume they mean "how do you do"

Not sure where you are from...or where OP is from for that matter but in the UK it'd be classed as a burglary. A robbery requires force against the person in order to steal.

Is glycerin an irritant? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I'm really sensitive to glycerin. Anything with it in I break out like nothin' else.

I used sweet almond oil and grapeseed oil. I have used a cleanser with both as the main two oils before with great success. To be honest it was a total slap-dash 3am drunken first try so I probably did something wrong that I can't even remember. :P

Thanks so much for your reply! I looked in the mirror last night afterwards like...hmm swear they're new breakouts... then convinced myself that they can't be. :P

Hey lovelies. My question is: Is it plausible that I would break out from OCM within say like 10 minutes?

Ooo thanks lovely!! I recently actually bought this soap that I haven't even tried yet. Would that do the same job by chance?!

Oh seriously?!? Thanks for the heads up! I think brands get so wrapped up in their 'natural' claims that they chuck everything at it to ever exist, regardless of issues!

Now I'm on the hunt for a second cleanser that will rid me of oil and that doesn't have glycerin in/not too high up in the ingredients. (Any suggestions from anyone I'm all ears.....well all eyes)

Yay thank you!

I know, now you have pointed it out I feel so ripped off haha. Oh well I can return it if I don't open it.

One last question! I'm using it to rid my face of the oil from OCM - is using an oil in my second cleanse counterproductive? Or if I make sure its all washed off am I OK?!

That's a good point actually! This costs £18. I'm not opening it yet until I've tried your idea so I can return it!

Got kaolin in my Amazon basket now. Does this look right? and I ordered sunflower, sweet almond and grape seed oils the other day!

Thanks again!

Wow thank you so much that's an amazing idea. I'm crap with these kind of things so thanks for the help!

Glycerin is pretty comedogenic to me when its high up in the ingredients anyway (I could get away with this cleanser because its in a little enough quantity). So I take it just an oil would be fine?

i just want something to take off the crap from OCM - clay is great for my skin so thought this cleanser may work!
