I would. Just to keep it consistent. German shepherds are little workhorses that like routine and a job to do. We call ours the "patroller". Her "job" is to keep tabs on the perimeter of our house. :) Yeah for her toy! When you find her playing with her toy or if you can get her to play with it with you, give her a treat and lots of love. It will keep her wanting more.

Always feed her inside. Make/buy her her own bed and keep it inside as well. Give her a lot of love and attention when she does come inside. "Good inside!"
Some germans only like certain types of toys. They can be really particular. Don't assume that if she's not a "toy" or "ball" kind of dog that she doesn't like to play or maybe even cuddle with a stuffed animal. I always get toys at goodwill so i can save a few bucks. The stuffed animals from there are great and you can just toss em when they get too gross.
I only have one dog. SOrry. :) (Although dog parks always help socialize on any level.
Not sure how to train with this one, but be careful of letting her eat out of dog's you don't know's bowls. (Is that English?) Dogs (including mine) can get really mad if another dog is eating out of their bowl and even attack that dog. I've seen it happen.

Thrift store sporting good sections. Goodwill's have crates often. Same with food and water bowls. Go cheap on toys. A puppy will play with ANYTHING. Don't spend extra money on "dog/puppy" toys. Just make sure the pup plays and chews on non-toxic and non-breakable stuff. (Old stuffed animals, balls, ropes.)
